Hello there.
I've just job changed into SC recently and am looking for ways to boost my AS damage. It is currently sitting around 15k dmg on Alicel etc. with a +9 Orc bow.

The only offensive equip I have is a +9 HBP. +12 Orc bow would be way outta my budget.

I would also like to have a good stats build, My plan is to do TIs and when the time comes, farm some dark priests and what not, then some pvp here and there.

Oh and lastly, does base level increase AS damage for SC?

Hi, im not an expert, but I do currently play a sc. Im still new at it but i can give you some of my findings. To raise AS damage u have to have a good amount of dex, 100 at least. +9 orc archer bow is good enough, i personally will not spend any money upgrading past +9 since i wont be using the bow after 126ish. This is just my suggestions, but im sure there are better.



You should get:

+9 HBP

Byorgue card ( + 10% atk/matk ) and put it in a armor of your choice, supposedly the common armors are diabolus armor and valk armor.

Robo Eye helps as well with +2% atk and 1 dex

Shackle + Ball combo ( +50 atk ) but takes away the ability to use variant shoes.

RWC ring with fighting spirit 3 x2 paired with +9RWC pin for some added atk%

Ring of Flame Lord ( +15 atk ) helps as well.

this is all that comes to mind at this moment. you can also check the guide in thief class section.

I hope you wont farm DPs with AS on a chaser. I would suggest you get Turn Undead copied on it.

and what is said in the post above me is like the only things you can get to boost your AS damage.
Focussing on dex/atk is the way to go in order to be decent for an AS chaser.

Lol Of course not with AS. But as level 112 my TU success ratio isn't all that high, so I figured I should boost my levels for more efficient farming.
I do have a few followup questions tho:
Does Byorgue card only boost weapon atk or overall dmg? If it's only weapon atk, porcillio would still be better yeah?
As for armor, isn't a +3 DEX (random cheap) armor better than Diablous or valk armor?(Forget +3 dex valk armor, lol 200m+ no thanks)

I think byorgue applies to weapon atk only. and Porcellio would be better if the 10% is less then 25 atk.

and that "random cheap armor" you are mentioning doesnt have the stats/abilities Diabolus or Valkyrian armor does have. (Status reducs, more armor, HP (diab armor), +1 All stats (valk), +1 Dex and +2 Str (diab).)
