They would get the items the same way they get anything else that is not needed in life but yet want it. Ask their parents. If there parents say no, then so be it. The problem with a real money situation is, if you cater to EVERYONE then it just won't work. The perk to Lucky Spin is just that, being able to get something someone else may not be able to get. A lot of Item Mall's are based around this type of advertisement... "get something that non-paying players can't get".

Also, non-paying players can get Lucky Spin costumes, just buy spin coins in game with zulie from other players selling them. So they aren't hopeless.

Please read my post carefully.

I said balance.
Of course no-one can cater for everyone's needs, it's like trying to be friends with everyone, both the good and the bad, which impossible.
Also I did already say that free players trade their zulies for spin coins above.

Some in game deem it currently too heavily Item mall dependent.
Item Mall is supposed to give you advantages but the gap seems far too large.

If it's revenue, why not try and advertise things inside the game?
Posters / banners for example at certain locations.
Even costumes aren't out of the equation.

Another topic:

There was a suggestion a while back about being a NPC broker of sort, but I can't remember when or where exactly.

The NPC broker allows players to trade Item Mall points for zulies, kind of like an auction house.
There is a zulie handling fee which deducts a certain percentage.

That way you can get a decent amount of zulie drain and it should reduce the scamming when gift/trade.
Whilst some can get Item mall related things much easier.

Although this won't happen any time soon if at all.

What is everyone else's opinions?

Ok so I will propose a fix to better the situation.

Locked IM. Everything becomes account bound. Then there wil be no prices necessary and it wont matter to non paying customers.

Or

Sell ls coins directly instead of dissasembly. So when you click "buy spin" you get 5 coins instead of a spin.

My apologizes for not reading closer.

However don't you think advertising in game would further upset the community? I mean it's said that this game is already so heavily IM dependent, so if they put advertising of it more in game... I think players would get more annoyed than they already are.

I like your NPC broker idea a lot.

My ideal thought is that things like costumes should be accessible ONLY through IM and sometimes quests(however "costume A" should be offered in IM and a quest). That would give interest in doing quests, and feeling of honor when finishing certain quests because then you can run around in those costumes and others knowing you finished that long/hard quest.

The gameplay should be left "free" in its entirety. So if a player wants to play and be a strong character in any sense, they can be without the NEED to spend money. However if they want to look cool, then they have to chip out some real money. In the end I think the game would still make good money because this game has always been heavily surrounded by costumes as well as normal gameplay.

And push away everyone who can't buy IM with real money? I could have agreed back in the days when there were no Pluto\Venus\Rerolls etc, but now? Only the players who could afford spending real money for IM would be left playing.

Which would mean the population gets, at least, halved.

also, I do believe under the "Volunteer Mod Guidelines", it states "Moderator voice shall contain no opinionated statements and is also subject to the rules of the forum itself."

Let's keep it that way.

Mod voice is actually just the Red Bold text not the normal posting.

Not true.

Even with plutos and venu's, only the people who pay for access to them would get the benefit. So as far as the F2P user would be concerned, they don't exist. This would sky rocket cata prices, turn IM into value-less items. and completely level the playing field for all F2P users. IM users would be in a bracket of their own. But it's not about the IM users, it's about the F2P Users who cant buy the IM with $. So if all F2P users are on the same field of access, then it'd be more balanced then ever. Only IM users would be 1 tier higher. I didn't say it was a good fix at all, lol I was actually being sarcastic. Because the only way to end the debate about what should/shouldn't be allowed in IM is to either terminate access to trading it, or abolish it and go P2P. Which they already stated they won't.

Which is a smart decision in a business point, if you can get people to play a game for free, and entice them to spend money after they're hooked, you'll get more traffic, then advertising a P2P title.

Long story short, the argument will never be over, a balance can be attained [which i think already has] and both sides of the fence will just have to accept the compromise. But the argument will never be over.

After playing for a while i must say, the party is still as useless as ever, no matter what, in a party u will get less exp, even if party is max level, you will get like 90% exp and will get a lot less exp before u get to lvl50.

Right there is part of the problem. You will get more xp, when you have more players killing.
