Do I need a certain skill or is there an NPC to do it at?

2 possible ways:


Either use the skills from a "Sage" (mage->sage) or use so-called "elemental converters" that are created by Sages.


Direct endows last 30 minutes while the converters last 5 minutes as far as I know.

You forgot one. There is a 3rd.
There are hats that either cast Endow or use mild wind by chance when attacking.
These can be a better option if you don't want to depend on a alt or making/buying scrolls.
You just pop on the hat while wearing the weapon you want to enchant, Smack something until the endow activates then switch back to your leveling hat. The first 4 are preferable over the crowns and diadems if you starting out as they don't need to be upgraded for their effect, but the last 4 are better in the long term.

Oh yeah, totally forgot these since we didn't have them on my home server x_X Sorry about that =P

Though, in my opinion the time spend gathering the money needed to buy all these (unless you do KP = Z) would far exceed the time you would need to make a simple endow slave, even on a non-vip account.

And don't forget priest's aspersio skill for cheap holy endow or assassin's enchant poison skill for poison endow.

Mild wind is actually better than an an endow, too... It makes the whole damage (status and weapon) elemental instead of just weapon attack.

There is another way, but is only for K/O. 10 charms of a type and the weapon gets the endow.....
