I am lagging kinda everywhere. =.= Almost in every map. It feels like snapping on my all chars wherever I go. Which IP addresses do I tracert to report to the GM team?
I am extremely frustrated with lag. Want to play, but its hardly possible to.

Campitor already said that he can't just report what people are saying on the forum to the IT department. He needs your trace cert report. Have you send in your trace cert report to support.warpportal.com yet?

I haven't yet. Before I send a report, I'd like to know which IP address do I chose as a reference to send the tracert. Its laggy on every map for me. For example, if someone's lagging in TI map, he would tracert the IP of TI server. For me, it's not one particular location, its actually everywhere..

I asked the same question in the next tiki tuesday thread. hope they will give us the IP address.
Maybe you should ask there as well. If I got lag in all the maps, I will just tracert all IP address regardless of which map it's for and send everything in the support ticket.

The best IP to do the tracrt to is 128.241.92.98
I believe ilovemilk explained how to copy, & paste it, but if you still weren't able to, you can also just right click, & click on "Select All", then just do Ctrl + C to copy it. After that you can post your tracrt here, & submit a ticket, if there is a server issue. When you post it here, you just need to delete the first IP, which is your own IP address.
Hope this helps you both.

You need to contact your ISP also. Something is going on on their end for you to get all those asterisks.
In response to others. It would help to do tracerts on more than one day, since things can change from day to day, depending on your ISP & iRO.

Nah mine is perfectly fine. It's just that I use a 4G wireless dongle that's currently out of paid time and running in throttled mode.

When I do get on, there's a 15 second gap between actions.
The asterisks normally mean there is a packet loss, with your ISP, which means you should contact your ISP, since the problem appears to be on there end. Could be a bad router or something else. Hopefully they can help you.

That tracrt is great. Many people have times double that. If you are lagging there could many reasons, your computer, video card, if you're running more than one client, etc...
WTFast & Lowerping also help.

i didnt have lag until i downloaded the whole game again, this was 2 weeks ago, i had a cpd.dll error that didnt let me log(i was playing ro on the classic release--2010?or 2012?-- launcher), so i read that i had to download the game again.

Did you do an un-install first & delete the Gravity folder. Make sure to keep a backup copy of your Savedata folder. The Gravity folder should be installed, directly under the C: drive, & not in the Programs folder.
Hope this helps you

That 4th hop is dropping packets I would suggest talking to your ISP about what server it is.

Generally you can block out the first couple of IPs since those are very close to you and we'd be able to see what hop of the connection is causing the issue. Oftentimes, it's a very big hop crossing the ocean that causes the issue but when the hop is between servers that are right next to each other it signals a problem.

Posted 03 April 2016 - 07:22 AM
blocking the hop address information sort of defeats the purpose of posting a tracert.
i was kinda going off the first post where the person blocked the first few but im not sure which hop addresses shouldnt be posted and which should....i dont really understand this whole thing >.> n i have trust issues when it comes to ip addresses sooooooo yea
