So Im setting up to sell some gear in eden (I know major evil) and its so crowded I open my chat while walking to an empty cell with literally NOTHING around me like no npc, no warp portal or anything just happened to be an unavailable cell so this guy who sits in eden hours on end with nothing better to do starts harrasing me about a week ban etc and I keep telling him dude there is literally nothing around me, go report those guys blocking grandpa and he's ranting to me like one of those ridiculous librarian types (no offense librarians, youre all sexy) but I have some serious issues with this kinds of people.

Finally my question, does this technically get me a ban? Or will GMs look at this guy and tell him to stop wasting their time?

First floor or second floor? Vending is supposed to be disabled on the first floor of Eden Group. Technically speaking, you are liable to get a suspension for it. Even if it means others aren't banned before you, you still aren't allowed to complain if you do get suspended for doing it. Then again, it's a lot to keep track of........


If it is a cell where you're not allowed to set up a Chat/Vend in the first place, that still falls within breaking the rules. Having to do a Chat slide to get into place means you're abusing a bug to do it. There's a reason why you're not allowed to set up a Chat/Vend within a few cells of NPC's in the first place. It would solve a lot of issues if they would just turn these into dead cells though.

Thanks I just see is as unfair/illogical since I was blocking absolutely nothing, no npc or anything. Because of the angle of view of eden you couldnt even rotate the camera to where I would block anything lol.
And by selling I meant I set up a chatroom in 1st floor.

I spoke with Heim on the issue of chats and vends, at some point they will role in something ren and I worked on to help with it hopefully from the way it sounded. Also spoke with him about moving NPCs to more convenient places...cross your fingers.
