hello,

just another question, planning to reset my build to get some stats to resist masq, is it worth getting like 50 str 50 dex sacrificing some dex and int? the only skills with cast time are praefatio and silentium but skills like lex and pneuma don't have cast time. just wondering if it's worth the points or if its even enough or should i add more?

just calculated that 50 str and 50 agi gives about 30% resistance to masq, am i calculating it right? :p_omg:
thanks :p_love:

I wouldn't suggest getting STR just for the purpose of Masquerade resistance.

There's no "set" amount of resistance you can get from any amount of stats because it also depends on the Chaser who is attempting to Masq you. I would recommend saving up for heavy lifter passes as they give you a flat +200 weight boost per pass, up to +2000 extra weight which will help your resistance immensely.

already have that. just that i get masq-ed easily cause i have low resistance :P_swt:not trying to go head to head with a chaser but just wondering if those points are actually worth adding.

My sorc has 80 base str and 80 base agi strictly for masq resistance and it makes a huge difference.

70 str 48 agi here for the same reason. Masquerade resistance isn't bad and you certainly should have enough points to allocate a good amount of points in str and agi for the same reason. I don't see it as a smart move to not build masquerade resist its also the reason you see these Rune Knights in woe with 1 str and agi that always get Masqueraded on the first try regardless of the Shadow Chaser. The good Rune Knights will take 3+ Masquerades for a successful attempt which by far could be the difference between life and death in WOE.

80 STR 80 AGI Or 70 str 48 agi, your sorc still gonna be masq'd in 1 or 2 shots max by a good 150/50 chaser.

@OP as Alaska said...get those Gym passes and added up STR as others say, Agi maybe a lill bit but it won't be helping you much on masq resist..since the stat gets divided by 3-6. 2000weight itself will add up 20% on masq resist.

Get int, you don't want to get silenced by other abs or worse get inflicted with oblivion curse.

Status preference really depends on how a player plays and what the circumstances are, IMHO.
120 VIT is a bit too much though, 100 is enough. You'll want more LUK for Howl resist, and play around with both STR and AGI for Masq resistance (even then you'll still get Masq'd sigh).
Just try to stay out of trouble and don't... draw too much attention, I guess. Then again Chasers are pesky :(
80~90 DEX is good enough. Stringer exists for a reason <3

And yes, get INT. Remember, this is Renewal, not pre-R. xD
Is your AB purely for WoE or do you also use him/her for PvM/MVP?

Green potions are VERY expensive. Honestly I just go to magma2 on my genetic and greed for like 20 minutes and have a few months worth of panacea instead of holywater + green pots lol

is 92 INT too high? might consider dropping it a little more into other stats. or am i overlooking something? not too concerned about silence since that can be countered with panacea/green pots. seems like there are more chasers masquerading me than gx oblivion curse? but then again my INT was pretty high before, anyone care to share their experience with lower INT?

Well the main reason HPs got low INT pre-R was because of the different heal modifier, lower HP pool, and the existence of Meditatio skill, allowing you to get low INT even if your HP was FS.
In Renewal, heal system changed and IMO there really is no reason to drop your INT that low. Here's status effects and what resist them: http://irowiki.org/wiki/Status_Effects
Lower INT means lower SP as well, and that means you gotta carry more pots around. Just make sure you have enough hotkeys to put them in because I really wish I had more slots for x_x
INT also affects healing, but then again if you NEVER use your AB for PvM/MVP, I guess.... you can have lower INT. ABs in WoE are not supposed to heal anyway.

I personally like ABs with a decent amount of INT. I remember laughing at HPs who rolled on low INT and high DEX and then got sleep/silenced over and over. Priests slacking on duties much :x

I've 77 base int on my AB and I've never gotten silenced by other ABs.
