So I've been playing ROSE for a pretty long time now and I play off and on. I've been looking for a MMO to play and recently I've heard of ROSE becoming a bit better in the PvP department, as in, being able to queue for matches/battlegrounds/whatever from wherever you are which is really awesome for the game!
However, I've installed ROSE through Steam and when I attempt to start it up, it says "Checking Warp Portal. Please wait..." and does not budge. My IP is DMZ'd, going through a router and nothing is blocking the Launcher, it just refuses to work. Now this is very disappointing because I know it'd force a lot of people to not want to play the game with such a barrier to get into a F2P game and just give up. If I were anyone else, I'd have no clue how to fix this because I wouldn't be knowledgeable enough to know to check the steam directory and run ROSEonline.exe when starting it through Steam SHOULD work in the first place.
I've googled this issue and there seem to be no solutions to it other than running ROSEonline.exe through the directory itself. If anyone knows the solution to this, please post it here so people googling for the issue can find the fix easily if they run into it.
Off-topic: Also, for ROSE through Steam, Are there completely different servers you're forced to play on that are separate from the "normal" servers?

Only thing i can think of, is reinstalling steam itself & than re downloading your game library & The Server's are the same as to downloading rose from the official site .

There was a maintenance last night, although im not sure what time Servers went back up.
Suggest you retry logging in now.
