exploding kunai AoE is now the same as throw huuma AoE... they shrank the crap out of the AoE for KE, TK damage is minute compared to pre patch, TK now misses on plants, KE will not hit ghost types even when endowed....

It's only throw kunai, and we knew this nerf was coming - remember how we were all like "woah, why does throw kunai still do good damage" when we got kag/obo update? Well, that's what I was thinking at least.... And before the update, lots of people were leveling ninjas since we thought the easy mode kunai leveling would go away with kag/obo.

It sounds like the nerf was a bit more forceful than some were expecting.

the higher the level you used the larger the aoe... until last night... now its really hard to hit anything that isnt sitting perfectly still...forget about hitting things while using css

Dumb that the argument that qualifies it is that "leveling Ninja was easy with it". So what?? So compared to leveling a hunter ninja is slightly easier, and that makes the entire kunai tree worthy of a nerf? What is so bad about KE being nearly on par with 3rd class AoEs in PVM.

Also people are saying magic is nerfed?

magic has been nerfed since renewal came out... the only advantage to it as a K/O is its spamability with 16th night... but its not really AoEable and its still weak as hell...

I dont know how to describe it, THEY BUTCHERED the ninja class... BUTCHERED! The damage of Swirling Petals and Kunai Explosion are still good and 16th Night does help but they added such a terrible DELAY!! I'm sorry Oda you should undo that last patch on Ninja REGARDLESS of the useless programers at KRO say! They don't know balancing if it hit them in the FACE! JUST LOOK AT RANGERS!! UNTIL THEY UNDO THAT REALLY TERRIBLE DELAY at the very least and buff up normal ninja spells and skills they completely made Ninja useless! A challenge yes, but useless.

the nerf on throw kunai wich regardless of what kind of throw type you are is a skill you depend on for lvling. the nerf completely killed the skill as it does very little damage now and is quite useless. 3k AT 100 STR and 100 DEX is WAY TOO EXTREME a nerf! Now even with extreme gears Ninja's are practically useless with this skill build >>> Throw type

Throw type status: Dead

Melee Ninja's don't even serve a purpose really especailly in turn ins and whatnot. nobody will party a melee type Ninja Oboro OR Kagerou

Melee may have some use in PvP but in PvM status: Dead

Magic Ninja: Probably the only redeeming type at the moment thanks to 16th night and charms.... wich is an Oboro/Kagerou skill! Oh and did I forget to mention the fact that Daggers simply don't add up to the Matk staves have! Wich means they will need to get to their expanded class to be any bit effective AT ALL!! So all you really do with basic gear is up to 3k on enemies weak against the element your using and 2k or less with the AoE spells wich I kinda understand but regardless,
Magic Ninja status: Endangered but still doable.

....... In otherwords the best build right now would have to be a Hybrid Built Ninja. not dismissing Swirling Petals... Sooooo..... the new build would have to be a Str, Dex, Int focus. Awsome huh?

the build I recomend trying out:

100 str
90+ Int
75+ Dex
30-40 vit,
30-40 Agility
1 Luk

I like your build recommendation but problem is, how is any ninja gonna even get to K/O with things the way they are now,

Basically with the nerf of every skill ninjas have, they can't do enough damage to level on anything over lvl 70.

The only viable option is to to auto attack, but quess what? Ninjas have neither HP nor flee to get up and personal to stab anything in the face.What did Ninjas ever due to get beat with this performer stick?

if they REALLY felt they needed to nerf kunai there were better options than just throwing the skill in the toilet and stomping on it til it flushed... like making its damage based on dex like arrows... or make each kunai do separate damage like waterball... ANYTHING almost would be better than what we got...

magic ninja is the superior build (although more expensive). getting through ninja class is rough, but when you change, it gets alot better. swirling petals does the damage that kunei explosion used to do XD

But why do I have to go magic build? Why can't I be a melee like a ninja is SUPPOSED to be? And equip swords and even two handed swords? Yes maybe Ninja Gaiden did spoil me a bit but I didn't expect ninjas to be so weak and even weak mages no less.

well if youre going by true ninja standards they shouldnt have many attack skills at all.... as a ninja if you fight it means youve been discovered and that means youve already failed... iRO ninja are more based on anime fantasy ninja .... and personally ive always preferred Tenchu to Ninja Gaiden...

Meh is all i have to say to Tenchu. I'm going more of a cross between the two, because Ryu is way too overpowered to make ninja like him in Ragnarok, but the idea of real life ninja, who were actually called Oniwaban, not ninja, would be even weaker than they already are.
