The title says everything. The skill works on myself and other players, just not monsters. I tried using this skill on several different monsters and even tried spamming this skill on a flora for almost a minute with nothing happening. This skill never worked on a monster once. I made sure I didn't have full sp while attempting to use this skill as well.

do you actually see a cast bar when you try to use it?
for monsters, you need to hold shift then absorb on target
or you can type /noshift or /ns so that you can just use it normally
by default, only players can be absorbed without having to hold shift
happens to some other skills too
