Ok I was looking at one of the sites that helps you calculate damage and things and saw something really odd. Apparently Weapon upgrade LVL does NOT effect Occult Impact damage!!! Can anyone confirm this because it seems really odd.


I am on the Valkyrie server and have a Combo Monk at about lvl 70/33 right now. I do not have a much $$$ can probably scrounge up a mil or so but not much more unless I can find a buyer for my Crown of Deceit. Anyway Current skills and stats are as follows;

Here is my Current Skills with This being my projected Build.

Demon&Divine 10
Bless&Increase Agi 10
Warp tree upto Penuma
Ironfist, Flee, Summon Spirit Sphere, Raging Trifecta&Quad at 5
Spirit Absorb 1
Occult Impact 4(though tree shows 2)

Stats (Base)

Str - 70
Agi - 40
Vit - 20
Int - 20
Dex - 40
Luk - 01


Equipment

+3 VVS Wind Fist
+5 Fire Swordmace (used this back when aco lvling on leaf cats and ghouls)
+5 Double Wolverine Morning Star (2x Wolf card) (before I got ^)

+5 Rejuvinating Buckler (Enchanted Peach Tree card)
+5 Hard Saint Robe (Pupa Card)
+6 Biretta (non slotted)
+4 Undershirt (non slotted)
+0 Shoes
2x Clips of Muscle (Mantis cards)


I would also appreciate any suggestions on good lvling spots and perhaps alternate weapons if not to expensive.

Well i'll be damned! Normal upgrade damage doesn't seem to effect the numbers in the wushang calc... I'll see if there's some way I can test this without much effort tonight.

Do note that _overupgraded_ weapons _do_ add damage on the wushang calc.

Only overupgrades affect damage of OI as well as Asura.

the damage between upgraded and over upgraded is usually minimal until you start getting into damage over 100-200k. However it may also be that little edge needed to push your average damage from the 2-shot to 1-shot range. so if you can go for that +7 or +8 chain, go for it.
