Stalactites and cave crystals grow for thousands and thousands of years.
Mineral monsters are actually living stalactites.
It's rumored that they are grown in a dark cave in which something inside has some sort of malicious influence over them.
That something might be evil in a form of demon or some sort and caused Minerals to be hostile towards human.
