The cynicism runs deep in this one...

As for myself, I will definitely be playing it.

I'm pretty sure I will be playing, though uncertain if I will stick with the assassin class or go swordsman for tanking in RO2.

I played the SEA version, and it was absolute crap. So if they can step it up then I'd gladly play it.

Was it the way they ran things on SEA or was it some kind of bad mechanics / balance issues in RO2?

A little bit of everything. Some of the skills like Ressurection had 10minute cooldown (lol).

Yes of course i'll be playing RO2!
I've played RO since it's alpha version and was more or less my first MMO experience, still love the game after so many years, so really hyped that we finally get to play RO2 here! :)

Why are people talking about if they'll play it or not? I was playing it a few weeks ago in english. I don't understand these ppl speculating on the game, it was playable not that long ago in english. It's the same generic 3d mmo youve played a dozen different times. The combat is extremely slow and boring. Made the mistake of making an archer because the game has positional lag so every monster can hit you from a distance. Takes forever just to kill the earliest monsters, you attack so unbelievably slow and your skills just do slightly more damage and have no effects that alter combat. Your gear does nothing except the slightest more damage and looks exactly like the gear you just had equipped.
There's no reason to play RO2.
And btw that trailer on the "homepage" isn't going to entice any outside players, have 5 seconds of combat and a full minute going through prontera where all the streets are barren.

Signed up for the free stuff. Won't be playing it though. lol.

At least that's what I think.

position lag

You have got to be KIDDING ME.

No. Nonono. They seriously haven't fixed that yet? They took the worst part of RO1 and put it into RO2?

I'll be playing, even though I've played kRO2. The game was only boring playing it solo, and I really enjoyed it with parties. Giving this one a shot since I'll have friends joining in with me. See you around!

Don't mind him, he's the forum Debbie-downer.

Btw, position lag doesn't exist when your latency isn't through the roof like in the version that shall not be named. Don't worry, it's a stable game when run by a reliable host and from a within-region computer. Heck, even kRO2 was virtually lagless when played from across the world. It just goes to show that your publisher makes a world of difference. Always better to make an informed opinion.

After reading reviews from the Korean version it looks as though it may be a tough game to get into. A lot of grinding and what not is apparently what the game has to offer. Either way always loved RO for the community it had to offer not the gameplay even though that was a bonus. I hope that it is monitored better to avoid gold spammers ingame and game bugs going weeks without being fixed. Regardless of everthing I WILL DEFINITELY be playing this game and am so excited for what Gravity has to offer.

I'm here because I'm obviously interested in the opinions of other posters,as well as stating my own opinions.Even though I'm not active in-game,I still avidly post on the forums because there is a chance of me becoming an active player again,if Gravity can get it -_- straight.

Please don't try to disrespect me again.Everyone is entitled to their opinions on the forums.

I'm not sure what you'd expect in response with a comment like that. It was asking for it.

An obviously negative post that serves nothing but to antagonize a game in its infancy doesn't help anyone. Maybe you'd be taken more seriously if you gave some proper feedback. After all, the OP did ask for a why, not just a baseless opinion(not that I don't agree that RO1 has become a travesty).

And really? Don't try to disrespect you? Wow.
