So lately whenver I get blinded by the monsters at Glast Heim churchyard, after the blindness ends, my hit and flee will still be reduced unless I log out. Getting really irritating.

Actually, you don't have to log out, simply teleporting or using fly wing will recover your Hit and Flee.

And it's not just Glast Heim monsters either. Literally every single monster that can inflict Blind will inflict permanent Blind.



idRO also has the same problem, and it started acting like this when idRO got the latest balance patch (the one with Camo nerf).

I assume it's the same case with iRO, whatever happened with Blind came alongside that balance patch.

Seems like only the two of us in here who realize this bug exist :P

At first I thought this is stat-related (in other words, lack of VIT/LUK/INT), but then there's still the problem with the hit & flee drop lasting much longer than the reduced visibility, which shouldn't happen (the stat drop and the reduced visibility should have lasted for the same duration)

So even if the long Blind duration is stat-related, there's still a bug that needs fixing.....

Considering this definitely happens, not just on iRO but also on idRO (two different official servers!!) I wonder why this thread isn't moved to the "confirmed bug" section. Then again, seems like not all confirmed bug threads are moved there.

Blind is a silly effect that should be removed by green potions, should not render my little toons unplayable!

Well, it is removed by green potions, the game just no longer recalculates your stats after it's removed. 

 

Hotkey something that changes your dex or hit, and switch it on and off (or even just switch it off with a copy of the same item) to un-bug yourself after blind ends. 

 

I mean, I agree we shouldn't have to deal with this crap.

I figured this was a bug, kept getting killed after being blinded in GH. My HIT and FLEE would be gone, and Id just get demolished by whatever attacked me. This needs to be fixed asap! GH is my favorite place to level =/.

Can't do malangdo culvert on melee characters because the monsters spam ground skills that blind :<

infinite BLIND D:!!!

 

i need to avoid farmillias and any other monster with blind effect, becuase i need to log off and log in into thegame everytime to recover my HIT and FLEE

Sorry for necro, but using Green Pots when blinded doesn't fully cure Blind status, it only removes the darkness effect and you still need to relog/flywing in order to get rid of it  :p_sick:

 Since has a recent post, I guess is not a necro anymore, is it? If it is, sorry.

 Is there any chances they'll fix it? I play a Mechanic for mid-TI and well, is expensive to switch gears, considering I loose my Maximize Power-Thrust everytime. Even if is a headgear, manteau or something alike... I'm using a Dark Blinder right now, but healing is getting expensive using slims instead of pumpkins haha, any solution for the problem?

Yes, this will be fixed in a future update. Timing of future updates is not announced by the GM team.

Related issue. Dark blinker doesn't prevent user from getting blind.

Actually it does protect the wearer against blindness.

Never had issues with it(Chaos), maybe something is not working properly on Thor
