hi all

i looking for some advice,I've new to this game and have a few question

1. for a newbie which class is a good one to start from a swordsman or a archer?

2. does it is necessary or helpful to have along with the main character a merchant? and why?

3. how does the PVP system work in Ragnarok and which classes are good for them?

4. how does the refinement system work?

5. how does the EDEN Quest system work? ( i had hear that they are help for new players but i still doesn't understand how they work)

Hello.

First of I'd like to ask you if you're playing on classic or renewal. Some things are different between the servers. My answers will be for renewal.

The wiki ( http://irowiki.org/wiki/Main_Page ) is a great place to start if something isn't clear.

1. Out of those two I'd say archer. Easier to level with range and skills, lower maintenance (you won't use as many potions as with a swordsman) and definitely easier to find parties for TI's once you get to them.

2. It's not necessary but it is very helpful. Your merchant character has some skills (Overcharge-> sell junk for more money to NPCs and Discount-> buy potions and other useful items for less money) which will help you earn/save money in the game. You can also make your merchant character sell items to other players if you judge it worthwhile (check http://ragial.com/ if the item can be sold for a reasonable price).

3. No comment since I don't WOE/pvp yet. :x

3- Rangers(archers 3rd classes) are weaks for pvp
or I just suck..... or both

Also Suras and Rune Knights seems to be majority good killer on WoE, but suporters are must like Arch Bishops and Geneticist
