How does the profession rate?
Is it changed so that it doesn't instantly become useless when they implement higher level stuff?
Is it worth doing?
Is it (god forbod) dependent on your stats?

I'm assuming you mean, how does it rate in terms of usefulness or something like that.

Professions are quite handy, that is if you choose the right one for your class or one that will grant you the most benefit.

Blacksmiths can make armor and weapons so that's always handy, at higher levels like near end game, some of the best stuff if crafted by those masterful blacksmiths.

Chefs I actually saw a lot of in SEA version, you can make health recovery or boosted abilities items, food items, and buff potions instead of absolutely always having to buy them or get them from quests. You can also sell your creations, because in any game, buff potions and food items are always needed and essential.

Artisans are great at crafting light armor and clothes so you want this if you playing on being a class like a Thief, Blacksmith if you are going Swordsman.

Alchemists make pots, they don't make food lol. But their pots are great and sell really well all the time, tho a Chef can make food and buff items.

As for higher level, if you haven't been leveling your profession, you might have some trouble. As you are leveling, don't forget to also increase your profession level as well since it would suck to be Level 50 and have like a Level 10 Profession Level, if that is even possible. It sort of levels with you, but you do have to put effort into leveling it or it will be far behind your Class Level.

It is worth doing, like I just mentioned, it can always net you some extra cash selling your crafted goods or save you cash since you can make your own. It's a lot of effort but yes it is definitely worth doing.

It's not dependent on your stats as far as I know. Job Level is entirely separate from Class Level and your stats.

I played a long while on SEA version so this is just my knowledge thus far. Hope you find it helpful.

Wow, I must have been playing Chef so wrong. I didn't know they could make potions.

From what I remember they can. Unless I was getting the two classes mixed up. Been a while so if it's erroneous my bad. I suppose I was thinking that health recovery or boosted abilities were pots my mistake.

Then again, I was always Artisan on one character and Alchemist on my other on SEA.

They are talking about ro2. You can make inventory bags if you are an Artisan and sell them.

There's a recipe to craft bags?
Never heard of that one, unless they took it out of seaRO to get people to buy Superlarge Bags(which I can totally see them doing).

I hate it when games charge you real money to increase inventory space.
Sure its an easy way to get cash from the players, but its such a-_- move because they know you're going to need it.
