okay so i got the game downloaded and everything but when i got to the log-in screen my client shut down due to a hackshield error. Has anyone else that got the log-in had this problem? FYI i know the server is not up yet, but i want to resolve the issue if i can before it launches.

This client will shut down by a problem that occurred in an anti hack function (error code = 10301)

ok try this:
-go to the installed directory in my case:C:\Program Files (x86)\Gravity\Ragnarok Online 2
-then go to the folder: HSHIELD
-find the program: HSUpdate.exe, right clic and run as Administrator
-now try open the game again.

Edit, FIXED LMFAO..... The hackshield thought my bitdefender updater was a attack or somin. SO if anyone gets a hackshield error with 10301 and has bit defender boot your computer in safe mode and change your avc3.sys> avc3.sy and change your bitdefender updates to promt.

<p>In bitdefender just add files to antivirus exceptions Rag2.exe, AhnRpt.exe, HsLogMgr.exe HSUpdate.exe that are in the game directory.</p>

Hackshield is notorious for having problems whit a lot of mainstream anti-virus programs.

I'm having this error too, but I use AVG, what should I do? Already tried disabling it's protection, and firewall till next re initialization, disabled my TeamSpeak 3 overlay plugin, opened everything as Admin but nothing...

Hackshield is notorious for having problems whit a lot of mainstream anti-virus programs.

Rennie is right, try deactivating the "Real time scan" while hackshield is running!

Works with AVG, MCafee, Avast.

Hackshield has never given me a problem and I've never had to adjust anything to get programs to work. That said, I don't install game hacks or run packet trapping programs. Hackshield works fine for winXP, vista, win7, win8 so far and cooperates with Avast, Norton, Spybot, and other programs. It also cooperates with the microsoft mouse macro program without bombing out.
