Opened Game, first concerns

With that said, its time to complain about the problems saw from merely opening the game for the first time.
Hackshield is that does not do anything. HackShield is easily bypassed and I am not sure why this game has hackshield on in despite it being the same engine as Requiem. On Requiem Hack Shield was removed and what it protected against was moved server side for a more stable experience. It also opened up the input devices the user could use to macro driven controllers and keyboards. Hackshield is a terrible implementation of an anti-cheat device that limits access for players with specialized keyboards like Logitech products in general. It also fails in preventing hacking as its easily bypassed by bots and packet modification hacks.
The best way to prevent speed and jumping hacks is to move these server side, not putting in a cumbersome ineffective system.
The game does not have a listed publisher. It was not designed to be deployed on a default Windows 8 computer. This will end up limiting the customer base. Players will have to setup exceptions within their security measures to make the program work. Its not really acceptable for a game that targets this demographic to make these security exceptions.

The rest probably has to be taken up with Gravity Korea. Hackshield and whatnot are present in all version of the game.

Ooooohhh boooy. Can't play Ro2 using crossover then. I:Wow, they actually left HackShield in the client? In that case, it will be impossible to play IRO2 on OS X or Linux. Many Windows users will also be unable to play due to the various problems HackShield causes; the forum of Gravity Interactive's competitor was constantly flooded with complaints about HackShield when they launched RO2.
How disappointing.
Downloading it on my macbook as we speak, as well as my new imac. But meh, still cant get the imac to work as a screen for my windows desktop.
Anyways, Hackshield should get removed on anything like many before me have said.

There's people that actually use win8?It was not designed to be deployed on a default Windows 8 computer. This will end up limiting the customer base.
Like, without immediately projectile vomiting on their hard drive and putting win7 over it?
