I get the following error when i try to patch, any ideas? Already tried reinstalling, and running as Admin.

Oddly enough, even if it errors out the start button still lights up and you can still play. Maybe it just thinks there is a patch, when there isn't...

Update is working fine for me, but honestly warpportal needs to start releasing Manual patches to avoid these issues.

For those who are having this problem but still can play normally just go to the game directory, look for "version.dat", open and change the content for:

"UserGameVersion=00000008;
UserPatchVersion=00000008;"

Don't worry, the patch will work normally on the next update.

Made an account just to see if anybody knew the solution to this yet.

It's really just a small inconvenience, but I can foresee it getting a little tiresome having to wait for patching to fail until I can start the game(once it launches, that is).

I believe most people who had this problem had the client vesion fom April 17. The April 18 patch, which was released after the time the initial post was made seemed to have fixed the problem.

Today i tried to patch the client because i read the info on main page but on 0010 RTP file when patcher goes to 50% pop up the ERROR PATCHING window.
Anyone have the problem?

Open up version.dat in a text editor like notepad or whatever and copy/paste the content here.

Edit: from the Ragnarok Online II folder of course.

Just redownload the game from the main website, you should have version 10 and patch to 11.

It's messing up cause it's skipping a older update causing issues. Might as well redownload ;/

Maybe on 1st may the client will patch correctly?

Just say anyone : The redownload with patch 10 and patching to 11 worked?
If yes i will redownload too.

What type of disk do you have RO2 installed on? If it's a Ramdisk, there is your problem, if not, we'll go from there.

well i redownloaded the "release" client but meh i get the same fkn error -.- kinda pissed right now
does someone else have some advice for me? *feels like i have to rage in the forums*

What type of disk do you have RO2 installed on? If it's a Ramdisk, there is your problem, if not, we'll go from there.

Uninstalling > Re-downloading > Installing new client was the only option. I believe the issue is some people left beta too early and missed some beta client patches.

Never mind some people are having the issue with the new client as well.

like i said i redownloaded the new one and still got the same problem

uninstalled the old used my cc cleaner to clean my registry and boom same problem -.-
