See as how everyone seems to be able to at least start the game ( as in get to the login screen) I have came across an issue that seems to have plagued me alone. After I patch, I click start... hmm easy enough... but here is the crazy thing... Nothing happens after that. No Hackshield Pro, nothing... I can't figure this out, and I would love to actually be able to play once the servers go up, but I seem to not be able to get the client itself to run... any ideas?

Could be a issue whit your anti virus program, make sure both the laucher and the client as set as exceptions as well as Hackshield files.

I tried turning off my firewall and my antivirus program and yet it refuses to work.

I tried that too... I've ran it in compatibility mode. (Windows XP) I've re installed it twice now. I'm really running out of ideas.

I'm afraid not. It was still near the top of the list under the pinned threads. The following scenarios are likely:

A. People read but do not post
B. People read and do not post because they don't care.
C. People read and do not post because they have no solution to your problem.

Since the thread is still near the top it is still highly likely people will take a glance. In my case the answer is C, I have no answer to your problem.

Not sure what to say here, this issue happened sometimes on seaRO and was usually fixed whit manual patching but warpportal din't release any manual patch.

Seeing as most people have watched NBA games at some point, this statement seems to be untrue...

Back on topic.

These are most common solutions:
-Run as admin.
-Make sure hackshield is added to the exceptions list of your firewall.
-Manual Patch for hackshield

Seeing as you have tried two of the solutions, I would recommend making a post in Technical Issues section describing the issue & ask for a manual patch. Or piggyback onto and existing thread on the subject. If there is one.

now u just need an asian to do the math and a white guys to do the grammar check? =D My friend is sitting next to me, and he's half white / half asian and he just said " DOH ! is that why ppl think im a stuck up jerk??
