I didn't get very far on the SEA servers(lvl 35), before the shoddy translations/lag/bigoted community made me ragequit, but before I quit, I read that the endgame raids were reliant on ressurection scrolls and potions(or some other consumables) bought from the cash shop? You were basically forced to buy these in order to defeat the bosses.

Could someone confirm/deny please?

If you got a REALLY good raid teams you may be able to go without ressurection item, but most higher end raids parties prefer people to have the res item because it's safer with it,
As of iRO's version.. it depends really, if they keep the res cooldown the same as the other server on release we might need to rely on it a bit.

Yes refinement is still in the game...

There's a cash item which protects your equipment from breaking, as well as add 10% success rate (+9 to +10 is only a miserable 1.x % success rate). Karnium

There are an another question - how much refinement levels there? And how much impact it have on combat? How much difference of +6 vs +10 in %?

Some raids (more advanced ones, like CoA) didn't let you participate if you didn't carry Pump it Up Hard Pills and Spinels with you, both Cash items.

+10 is the refinement max.
+9 -> +10 is less than 1%. I think +8 -> +9 was 0.6%.

Each level of refinement gives +3% to the equipment's attack or defense.

Karnium is supposed to prevent breakage, and boost success rate by 20%, but there were a few reported cases of people losing their equipment even though Karnium was used. Asiasoft's response to one such person was that they have no records of it ever failing, and that the people who lost their equipment supposedly didn't use Karnium. Hard to trust that response, given their track record and the bugs present in the game. So I wouldn't rule out the possibility of failure. To be safe, keep a spare weapon, or record a video of your upgrade attempts.


Can you buy cash shop items by exchanging your crafted goods for it? Kind of. Each profession has a means of making money, and most cash shop items will probably be tradeable. At the least, Blacksmiths and Artisans sell epic gear made from recipes dropped in endgame (or sell that service through Vending, requiring customers to provide their own mats), Alchemists refine and sell oridecon/elunium, and Chefs sell stuff like crit food.

Well, its a given that Weapon's give ATK, and Headgear/Shirt/Pants/Shoes/Gloves gives Defense. Not sure if Accessory Gives ATK but Coloseums Accessorries gives PvP Dmg.

Of course there's a Big Defference between Full +6 vs Full +10, and the Price possible is depending whether you're a Cash Shop Buyer, or using your Hard earned Zenny.

I remember spending 9k Zenny, to max refine my Colo weapon. Spent it buying Karniums in the Auction House since I can't access Cash Shop.

By the way how difficult to harvest Zeny in endgame? And does it have necessary to have good amount of zeny for Cash Shop Buyer as well?
