How about presenting it as a timeline instead?

Eh, it's okay... The chraacter shadows are the creepiest part, though. The way they just get randomly aliased.

It seemed pretty okay and understandable up until about halfway through and then it trails into a big pile of "I think there's a story here but I'm not sure."

Think anyone could re-write it?

I'm impressed by the actual site. It's got a very acceptable aesthetic.

With a story that we're hearing for the first time, some concrete points like a timeline would help.
