every publisher has the licence for only some regions. seaRO has it for (some of) the SEA countries. kRO korea. iRO has NA, EU, Oceania (and other not licenced parts). PH will get an own server, BR too. so this is something that has to be done.

I will never understand why people get upset over this. Servers for your region WILL happen and it will be WAY more beneficial to you as those people will speak your language and you won't be forced to speak English or look for others who you can communicate with.

I know, personally, I won't play on a game server if the main language isn't English purely because I can't understand what is being said or talk to others.

then complain to your local publisher and not here because they are responsible for having the licence to release the game but not doing it.

...This is sarcasm right?

Where once the exclude players from other countries is beneficial?, If you exclude Hispanic people philippines, or other countries, and you're left with only people of your country, the number of players would be depressing, at least here in RO/RO2 .

About the language?, My God, do not go on vacation to other places?, In or out of games you'll have to deal with other languages. if I limited to games or other content for my language, serious stupid, not to mention boring.

Offtopic: I love see the Philippines playing, them are really good, for me are the best players *-*

It's not about excluding players. It's about what company covers what regions. It isn't to be taken as offensive and honestly it isn't people just from one country.

WarpPortal has mentioned they will cover NA, EU, and AUS. Correct me if I am wrong but those three regions are not one country. I have friends from all over including the Philippines and I have been in international guilds from Asia but they spoke English in public chats.

All I am saying is people need to calm down as the game will eventually be released in their region.

Would also like to say that living in the US.. I and the rest of us here are blocked from MANY games over seas and yes it sucks. I am waiting for Blade and Soul.. could I play it if I had an account for the other version, yes. Am I? No I am waiting for my region's Blade and Soul to release.

Actually, what he is saying is that while the server is not released again Warpportal allow entry to all players, excluding regions with the server already active.
One way or another the test server is hardly filled and no overhead. Besides helping in testing this server, a foreign player could advance the launch of its own server, because the work would be done immediately, since the international server, which will be the basis for all other thrown after him.

Agree and disagree.
What I agree is, personally I don't mind having IP block here. Of course, that would make me unable to access as well but I never bother.
And what Astrariel said also can be true. Some players more comfortable with their own locals, but that's just depends on players' preferences.

Disagree part is... well, if you can't get your hands on the game that you wanted to play, what would you feel?
Though, I honestly think that good game should have bigger community. Limiting them is kinda killing the fun.

As for me, RO2 isn't that much of MMORPG that needs to get my attention. If they block the IP, move on. If they don't still the same. Moving eventually.
I have tested too many online games, hundreds of them over the past 12 years and there are also period I've work in this testing industry. I hardly play final release. It's already in my nature.

But that's just me.
