Ninja Skill Bar Discussion:

As Ninja's, we have over 30 skills at our disposal! We have 29 if you remove the skills that can be performed without using the skill bar. Remove what are generally considered completely useless skills, and we are left with 22; however, 22 skills is still a huge number! Especially when, only 16 skills can fit on the skill bar without having to press page up and page down in the middle of combat....

Even if you've just become an infiltrator, if you plan to continue playing Dragon Saga and stick with your class, the huge amount of skills available to Ninjas and relatively small amount of space available to put them in will become a problem eventually.

So how do you reduce 22 skills to 16 skills? Our only options are throwing some skills out entirely, designating different skill bars to assign skills to, or doing both. Since we don't to just arbitrarily assign skills to random places, we are going to want to have skill bars that only are used for certain functions. The purpose of this thread is to further discuss the assignment of the large amount of skills available to Ninja's and the optimal setup for those skills. Or at the very least to provide some tips on how to go about creating your own skill bar setup.

29 Ninja skills that can be assigned:

I've crossed out the skills that are generally considered completely useless, but we still have 6 more than when can fit on a single skill bar. Let's go ahead and break down some of our skills by type and designate a pve skill bar, a pvp bar, and one for skills that we just won't be using very often. I would plan to have the skill bar for things that we don't need to use very often still easily accessible from your pve and pvp skill bar. Either put it in between the pve and pvp skill bar, or plan on making more than one and putting them on either side. It would be very annoying to have to scroll through a bunch of skill bars just to get to the one you wanted. Ideally, what you want to be able to do in pvp is hit page up or page down, quickly use your skill, hit page up or page down again, and keep fighting. In pve you have more time to think and react, so it shouldn't matter if you have to hit page up and then page down to get back to the bar you want.

Skills not assigned to a section tend to overlap.
Awaiting additional input and skill set up ideas.

The Sin line has always been the "Too many skills not enough SP" classes.

PvP bar = 16 skills. No more, no less.
PvE bar = basically PvP bar and replace 2 skills with pots.

If you analyzed the skills more in depth, you'll end up with ~16 skills left.

The way some skills are now builds are just going to be too linear. Not just for this class either.
