You can still PvP with this BTW. A PvE build isn't much dif than a PvP build really. You dont need Stun Hammer in PvE and I rarely used it in PvP myself. Stumble only needs ot be level 1 (I say it should be at level 1 for PvP and PvE as the aim debuff isn't as useful with the evade cap, and it was only good in group PvP with PF/NInjas on your team) Sharpness Blade adds a static 420 attack which is more useful than it sounds. Deathbound is only needed at level 3 for the Midair Launch effect. Windstep is not necessary and neither is level 5 Death Grab. Death Stinger and Demolition Charge are decent in PvE.

Edit2: 3 in cutdown is useful sometimes and you dont have much else to put point into anyway.

Ask if you got any questions.

Why thank you :3

Most people leave out HP Recovery and Physical Training because:

1. Myrms have the second highest potential HP. You can easily get it past 8/9,000 at 60+. (my level 54 Myrm on THQ had about 7.5K with Health Gear on, and that wasn't even max health gear)

and

2. The HP gained from both is NOT multiplied in PvP. So the gain is not very high, and it's usefulness is lacking.

In general, you will never need crazy amounts of health in PvE. The only times I personally can justify it is against bosses like Lavalon, Mutisha (shudders), and Bone Dragon. But if you have a Healer with you, you should be fine. Except for Mutihsa. He will tear you apart regardless of your health. We had the gimped version on THQ and he hit 5K plus with those rocks (*bad memories of soloing him surface*). The ungimped version does like, 8K. So even with those two skill you are gonna be beaten to a pulp. If you honestly WANT them you can put points in them. But you will probably find them useless later on :\

Nah. Legit reasoning. Mutisha/Karka was actually my only reason to put up HP recovery because I felt that 300 runs to get 50 jewels would be a journey. No point in it now since the boss will get fixed. Hmm.. I might actually up Stun Hammer 1 point for a solid 50% stun.

Because last time I checked:

Stumble->Gust->Rising Storm->SD->Bros->WyvernBlades->StormBlades

That wouldn't work as they could get away right.

Eh I always used a controller so my combos tended to be shorter. I mostly used

Stumble/SD > Gust Slash > Bro's > SD(to cancel the delayed launch and to make them unable to air tech, but atm they dont launch so its mostly for damage now)> Deathbound > Storm Blade > Wyvern Blade (I would switch the last two sometimes)

I rarely used Hammer and Raising Storm unless I had them up against a wall. Walled RS = absolutely BRUTAL though its very situational.

Also as far as I know, the Aram weapon recipes are changed or will be changed soon (they have been on IAH). It only takes 5 Genesis Rubies.

I'm starting to get pumped to play again. Something I thought would never happen. Anyway I gtg for now, if you have any more questions I'll see to them later XD

You don't want to rely on something that only works 50% of the time.

Small suggestion for your combo, I'm not much of a myrm player, but you should try storm blades then wyvern. One reason is that, storm blade has a shorter cooldown so when you catch them after their air recovery you can launch and throw another storm blade or follow up with a ground combo. The other reason is that you shouldn't use both tornadoes right after another, you want to have a little pause after the first tornado then use your second one. If you use both tornadoes right away your target can air recovery right after the second one and escape. If the target air recovery after the first one (assuming you pause) you can hit them with wyvern while they are in midair and that would prevent anymore air recovery until he hits the ground again. If you -for some reason- completely forgot to use wyvern after he air recovery, it can still hit ground targets unlike storm blades!

Hope that was useful!

Sir you cannot chain stormblade after deathbound.

Btw, overlord combos go on literally forever and they're easy to continue on the spot; ask Hawly :P

Oh and the other build in that thread is more PvP oriented than Hawly's build.

Overlords are pretty simple to build.

The only skills you need are Pneumatized Carapace, Ventral Sacs, and Flyer Carapace. If you choose to morph, then you'll already have preset skills.
