All I'm doing is making a comment like everyone else & stating my feelings about things here.
I know I've said this before, & I'll say it again, the market has been destroyed ever since the merge occurred. Everything Gravity keeps doing since then has just made it worse. For those of you that keep saying that I only say this due to my personal interest in making zeny that's not the case at all. This is effecting the community as a whole whether you realize it or not. The only ones it's helping is those of you that don't have zeny & don't take the time to actually try to make zeny so you can purchase items. The majority of us have worked hard to earn our zeny & get the items we are selling. We shouldn't have to practically give the items away or loose money, on items we have upgraded, which is where it has gotten to thanks both to the abundance, of high end gear, on the market, & some sellers selling items at lowball prices. The other problem is that so many people are quitting & in a rush to sell items that they are selling items below market value.
The market is so messed up right now it's not even funny. It's practically impossible to keep track of prices these days. They are so up & down from day to day or week to week.
I have always been very fair with my prices I quote & charge. I never sell or try to sell anything overpriced on purpose but lately, thanks to the market fluctuating so much, I've quoted a couple of prices, on items & been told the amounts I quoted were overpriced because I was going off the last amount I had & didn't research the item first. I'm not about to take the time to list each item because honestly there are too many to even list. The point is so many items are selling for less then they were a week ago or a month ago that's it makes it difficult to keep up with. All my prices are & always have been negotiable. I even tell people to just let me know if they see an item selling for less to let me know because of this exact reason. Again I want to make this completely clear, I'm not speaking only for myself here, I'm speaking for the community as a whole. I really think buyers need to understand better where sellers are coming from instead of saying over & over again it's so good that items are coming down in price or cost less then they used to. Think about the fact that you are also going to need to make zeny too in order to buy new & better gear. How do you think you are going to do that if you can't sell items for as much to buy the High End Gear which isn't going to come down in price especially when you are already having a hard enough time making enough zeny to buy the gear that's dropping in price?
Now before some of the usual people reply to this, I hope they will think first, & not flame or bash me for being honest & stating the truth.

Sure, MVPing / ET is cool, but saturating the server with MVP cards isn't.
who cares about mvp card drops? this game isnt called 'MVPCARDROP ONLINE'. sure theyre cool cards n all, but they arnt the game. theyre a LUXERY for people that have already maxed out the game and are bored with no objectives left to achieve other then rotting away in eden waiting for WoE
they clearly did this to give more benefits to having a vip account.
Don't try to reason, we are arguing with people who think everything even remotely useful should be free or easy to obtain. Prices on almost everything have done nothing but collapse since the merge, at least from a former Valkyrian standpoint, but apparently that's isn't good enough.
and what exactly would be wrong with that? god forbid that everyone have access to all areas of content in the game and be able to do upper TIs without dying super easy. your facts on item prices are pretty innacurate. prices went soaring up on almost everything. Things like Archer Skeleton card that were 8m before the merge went up to 20mil and then later 30mil when kagaru were released and are still only at like 16m, which is pretty obscene for a low lvl mob drop. The prices are just barely now scaling back down to a realistic level. The only problem ive noticed is not enough quantity available on alot of useful items. You can insult my ability to make money all you want, but 100mil is alot of money and not easily achievable for someone that doesnt already have capital to begin with
I really hope so, because contrary to what some people are saying about it giving a chance to newer people to participate in ET, they fail to realize this will just encourage players to form smaller parties so they can continue getting semi-decent shares. Valk loots have already gone down quite a bit.
lol wut? those small groups wouldnt invite strangers anyways so who cares. Guilds will still run with full parties because thats what being in a guild is for: fun and making friends. If anything this will only make it so that guilds can have more leeway to bring low lvls and ungeared people since the geared players will be able to reset and do it again.

It's sounding like you may be somewhat new to the game. Almost everyone cares about MVP Cards. If you don't then you are contradicting what you say about being able to buy all these good items at low prices so you can have the ability to level up easier. Just one more person that want's or expects things to be spoon fed to them instead of having to work for them & earn them like the rest of us & this game used to be
This was NOT done to give VIP's more benefits in fact there aren't a big difference between a VIP Account & a Non-VIP Account anymore. The storage amount is the same. Sure a VIP account can make 3 more characters on it then a Non-VIP Account but all you have to do is get VIP one time to do that or just create additional accounts. The only real difference is the little bit of EXP & Drop difference along with the little bit of EXP loss difference. Besides that now it doesn't even cost anything to become a VIP. They give you the KP back anyways.

Read what I just said & maybe you will be able to understand what is wrong with it better. Everything has gone down even almost all cards. Sure there are a few cards that are popular ones that have gone up but the only reason the card prices haven't been effected as much is because they aren't in the Kafra Shop Boxes & cards are much harder to get. Cards like the Alice Card dropped drastically in price due to Alice being in so many TI's. Just like the Raydric Card did awhile back why they kept putting Raydrics in the TI's. That's so many people ask for certain Monsters to be added to TI's, do so based on Cards & drops, rather then EXP, which isn't right.
lol wut? those small groups wouldnt invite strangers anyways so who cares. Guilds will still run with full parties because thats what being in a guild is for: fun and making friends. ET's aren't like TI parties. They don't advertise for parties or turn away "strangers". Anyone can do an ET with a party. You just have to put a party together with the right characters & people you know or don't know. It really doesn't matter. The point is you won't get on an ET party unless you talk to people & try to. It also seriously depends on your character & level. You can't do an ET with a character that isn't at least 3rd Class. Plus most ET's are done with characters that have already been transitioned & 3rd Class. So keep that in mind. Your right that's what part of being in a Guild is for. Making friends & most Guilds do regular ET's. So if you aren't in one you should get in one if you want to do them instead of complaining about not being able to do ET's

And the real reason for the price drop (if there is/was one) is because the GH/Kiel spotlights.

Alices were never in a TI...
And the real reason for the price drop (if there is/was one) is because the GH/Kiel spotlights.
TI Update:
Low TI: Firelock soldier and Mavka
Mid Tier: Alicel and Aliot
High Tier: Eremes Guile and Kathryne Keyron
Alices may not have specifically been in the TI but they were on the TI map. That's why more on the market now & they are selling for over 100m less then they were.
Why everyone think mvp card drop rates are 50%+? I can count that I enter ET at least 100 times for both iRO and idRO server and not even single mvp or even ghostring/deviling card spotted... Sure my party got profits but not by those...
Not sure where you read that or saw that but it's not true. MVP Card drops are the same as any drop or any other Card drop. All drops are however 50% higher for VIP's. The only time drops are higher for everyone is when they run double exp & drops.

He's not saying that is the actual rate. He's saying people think MVP cards drop like dimes(aka 50%+) and that they worry to much about the market being flooded with MVP cards, even though him or any of his ET parties hadn't got even a single mini-boss or MVP card....Not sure where you read that or saw that but it's not true. MVP Card drops are the same as any drop or any other Card drop. All drops are however 50% higher for VIP's. The only time drops are higher for everyone is when they run double exp & drops.
Thing is though, numerous amounts of people running ET however many times a week, with different chars, always have a chance of getting one or multiple MVP cards. It isn't per individual,it is the servers as a whole being flooded and people are complaining about the MVP cards because if certain people accumulate large amounts of them, they can end up turning an even bigger tide in activities such as WoE or MVPing.
Also, from what Ii heard at least,MVP card drops are even lower than regular monsters with theirs being at 0.02% rate and MVPs being at a 0.01% rate.I don't know if that is true or not though since I have seen many people get numerous MVP cards in my presence.

This isn't I-don't-want-to-work-for-anything-so-everything-should-get-easier online either.

What's wrong with it is that it's ruining one of the only markets left to make money from that doesn't evolve someone having to pour in a bunch of KP to profit from, all because you think HIGH-END-MVP gears should come easy to you? It's funny you should say say that about capital, because when I returned to renewal I had nothing but random junk like Immune Mufflers. I re-built my money slowly but surely, are you telling me you're incapable of doing that?
And it makes no sense to compare an AS card to anything, that obviously went up because of the Kagerou update, and I didn't even mention that anywhere.

Being able to argue with you doesn't necessarily exclude that person from happiness. It would just be nice if you would stop looking to argue with everything & anything I say.
Be happy instead!
You based your argument on a false fact:
Cards like the Alice Card dropped drastically in price due to Alice being in so many TI's.
She replied that you are "most probably" wrong:
Alices were never in a TI...
Whereas which you then still argued (which is your right) with another false fact:
Alices may not have specifically been in the TI but they were on the TI map. That's why more on the market now & they are selling for over 100m less then they were.
That was countered by a clarification:
Alices were NOT on the TI map. It was AliceL and Aliot, and the secondary mobs were Ferus and Bewler. Like I said before, Alice cards dropped in price because of the SPOTLIGHT not TIs!
You got proven wrong in a civilised manner, why not accept the fact that you started an argument based on wrong information? Should people ignore your posts even when they contain baseless arguments and/or misleading information? In the end, you'll learn something new, too.
I have no idea where Alice Card prices "should" be now, but I've sold mine a few months ago for 120m or so (which might have been a little, but definitely not way too cheap), and now I see chats which offer to buy that card for 110m.
I agree that there's exactly one institution responsible for a sudden decrease in prices, but since when does Gravity care for Zeny prices of ingame items? What they might care for is providing a game which is easy to start for beginners and still interesting and a challenge for advanced players.
