Well I got some Major headway on the Nvidia Inspector

Spoiler

Do they look good?

There seems to be an issue running it while Outfocusing, Shadow and Sunlight Effects are enabled

As for the Radeon Pro, I'll move towards it once I get this ironed out.

The images are rather small but from what I can make out they appear to be pretty.
Was this with the use of SweetFX filters or Nvidia Inspector only?
I noticed when enabling even 2x AA and forcing it in Nvidia's control panel it causes things like grass to blink rapidly if any of any Outfocusing/Shadow/Sunlight options are enabled.
Also, half the screen (right) turns to the sky when underwater or talking to an NPC that takes camera focus. (Even if Outfocusing/Shadow/Sunlight is disabled. Just seems to cause issues in general.)

It's using Inspector Only.

I'm going to change a few more things and I'll send you the Config File so you can play with it a bit more

Make sure your drivers are up todate

Very good question Puppet, For a day or so Yes.

This will allow for that little bit of extra testing so that we can recommend what to do for Nvidia users. Many users who will download games and applications expect it to work with out the glitches or errors. Because there are still smaller issues with FXAA vs SSMA vs CSAA and the BlueSky Error (And why this particular error happens), there will be an expected amount of users to post "It doesn't work" and not really elaborate on what works and what doesn't.

Once the last bit of the testing has been completed, then the Config file can be released as a Beta Download for players to use and test.

I already know Normal AA dont work forced in this game threw nvidia CP or inspector not with out graphical gltichs and half the screen being blue with and or certian game graphcis settings not working with it and producing a black back ground. It why I using FXAA It the only form of AA working right and I dont use injectors. I much rather use normal AA, but I have yet to find AA flags that fix the issues on the nvidia end And the normal AA flags for gamebryo engines dont fix the issues

i wish they just added the AA to their game like most modern games..

never had this much trouble getting sweetfx to run in a game before.
after going through this great guide, i can only seem to get AA working in the menu of the game.
then it goes away in game, but the sweet fx stuff works there..
ugh.

still can't get any combo of stuff to work, went through the process multiple times.

i5 2500k cpu
ati 6950
8 gigs ram
win 7 64 bit

tried catalyst no luck
tried radeonpro with and without sweet fx, it's clearly AA in the character select, but not after you pick.
sweetfx works when loaded with radeon pro, but the AA goes away.
can't get sweetfx to work but plopping all the files in the /ragnarok online 2/ folder
sweetfx directly in /game/shipping folder crashes it on load

am i doing anything blatantly wrong? or something i can check?
this is starting to get aggravating so going to grab a beer and just play the game for a bit :P
thanks for any help.

You have to add "[Installation Folder]\SHIPPING\Rag2.exe" and override AA:

Is there any way to play with the colors at all in nVida Inspector? From what I tried it I could see where to turn FXAA on, as well as some other options, but what I was most interested in form SweetFX was some of the saturation and color options, as jaggies don't bother me overly much / I prefer a crisp look for games.

No, but that's what SweetFX is for -- and you have to use SweetFX via RadeonPro for it to work.
Please refer to the instructions (click the spoiler) in this post for setup (read the Nvidia notes, assuming you have an Nvidia card).

I feel so foolish but I simply cannot get this to work properly. I followed the instructions on page 4, for the ATI card and so far nothing is working. I made sure to set split-screen to 3, so I could see it working immediately and it just does not work.

Running an ATI Radeon HD 5870, up to date graphics drivers (13.4).
Using RadeonPro 1.1.1.0.
Enabled SweetFX through that, along with AA in the Visual Tab.

I can easily upload my settings if someone would like, or if you have yours working, could you please upload yours and I'll try it on my machine. I'm pretty annoyed at this point, I feel like I'm missing something.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Ah thanks. I just assumed RadeonPro wouldn't work if I had an NVidia card.

Anti-aliasing is built into the game now, so this thread is out of date
