What are the formats required for guild emblems is it still 16x16 or 32x32 (whatever it was in RO1) ?

What file type? PNG, JPEG, GIF ?

Guild Emblems Have to Be BMP Format
Resolution:32x32
Guild mark Folder would be in a folder named "Guild" RO2/Guild
Name your Guild mark as
mark.bmp

IF it does not exist, create a folder named
"Guild" (Without Quote marks) and put the mark.bmp inside there.

The Guild Mark has to be 256 Colours (8 Bit)

If i remember correctly for guild marks, you usually have to create alpha channels for transparency.

How did you make it transparant. It had to be a very specific color of pink didn't it?

File->New
Type in the new untitled document, 32 width, 32 height etc.
make a square or put in a square
CTRL+Left Click the layer (Etc CTRL+CLICK the rectangle)
Right click on the image,
Menu drop down
Save Selection
In the new channel bit, you type in "alpha channel" without quote marks
and then you press okay

File save as, then navigate the file format menu to *.BMP (Not portable bit map)
Save as either 24 Bit, or 8 Bit when the bmp bit menu comes up
Put a name (guild emblem is mark.bmp)
Job is done. Simples!

Hm. The alpha layer just becomes full white when you save it as BMP ...

BMPs don't support transparency/alpha channels. What happens is that one color from the color palette is selected as the color for transparency. In reality the 'transparent' color will still be an actual color while opening the image. Most of the time pink. Ragnarok then sets that color to transparent in game.

To make that "transparency pink", it's 255 red, 255 blue, and 0 green.

Edit: Just noticed this is already in the other guild emblem thread... :P
