Neutral reductions have always reduced EQ damage for me. I've never used a DR before, but an Immune HBP has always helped me tank it more easily.

wait so some people said that EQ is reduced by DR but i thought that in Renewal DR doesnt reduce it but GR does. Is this true?

They both reduce the damage but they are different types of reduction.(ie not stacked additively) Just like pasana and jakk cards' reductions.

hmm, ok. that is interesting that DR reduces it cuz it says that EQ is a magical attack haha despite the fact that is neutral property

So wounded morroc hits me with earthquake for 450k per hit with DR + alice.

Does that mean he normally does like 2mil per hit from earthquake?

Always thought eq ignored reducs in renewal except for GR.

I had the pleasure of doing it without a gtb while on ymir, after I sent mine to valk.

How is Binding Mist work on EarthQuake. I dont get it?how much reduction can Blinding Mist to give?

the necro is real...also blinding mist puts a 75% damage penalty of ranged hits that dont miss.

blinding mist doesn't work on AoE damage though right? so wouldn't it be ineffective vs. EQ

EQ is a single target magic that affects everyone on the screen

And blinding mist doesnt reduces damage of magic attacks

so either way BM is useless for EQ. just bring more friends if you want to reduce dmg.

MVPs target themselves for EQ, i never tested placing blinding mist on their feet, since it has a chance for single target skills to fail.

And not only magic, any single target skill has a high chance to fail when the target is on BM

should note that the other status ailments of blinding mist have no effect on boss property monsters so i'm not sure if they would be affected by this either.

I know mvps can be affected by dieter volcanic ashes so why not blinding mist xD
