If you play on both server, please compare the followings between both servers:

1. Finding random parties to level with
2. Woe1
3. Woe2
4. Active population to meet friends
5. Noob friendly

renewal has higher population, so obviously its going to be easier to do all of the above. whether or not its a better server though is questionable. its alot easier to startup on, but borderline impossible to 'finish' on without either amazing social skills or sheer luck. also might not be as tight nit as the community on classic since there are alot of egos on renewal :heh:

If you play on both server, please compare the followings between both servers:

1. Finding random parties to level with
Renewal: getting to 70 solo is so easy then you go to eden and start your gramps ti parties.
Classic: current population is kinda hard to find ppl to party unless you have guildies/friends inlist that you know when/timezones they play and party with them. But i personally prefer grinding with mercs from low levels to 70 then start leeching them with my knight.

2. Woe1
Renewal: Low population, lesser comp, but its a good practice for small guilds to gvg (averagely from 7~10 ppl) man party.
Classic: Lots of ppl, maybe the most fun day to woe for most ppl in this server.

3. Woe2
Renewal: same as classic's 1.0 comment.
Classic: ppl still debating for their time slot change but the current 2.0 is already fine for most of us, so far Ive only seen mostly 6 guilds around everytime so yea its lesser competition for this day.

4. Active population to meet friends
Renewal: Most ppl I know is from here, warpportal forums and sitting around east kafra pront where my afk spot is.
Classic: old vets from irowiki, players who have quit years back and started playing again are the most active ppl I know.

5. Noob friendly
Renewal: since they have the most ppl, you can ask alot of ppl around if you need something to get answered or go here in forums.
Classic: most ppl only log during woes so its kinda hard in this server to look for ppl to ask, so id recommend you join a guild and self-browse the net for ragna infos

Classic kind of has a big resistance to being noob friendly. After the early Dragonlabs event most people hee and haw over anything that makes leveling easy (abyss spawn timers). I was lucky enough to be active when Dragonlabs was in and made a 95 sniper with just a hunter's bow. Since then I've just been finishing my BG set. Most good WoE guilds have accounts other people can use anyways, so I've just been playing what they need. RO on both servers for me is basically just living off the past. Trying to improve gear by selling off old stuff and using old zeny that was earned long ago. Done with all that character making shenanigans. After 1 or 2 150's it gets old. I don't play the social game. Forums are better for that if all you want to do is afk in town and talk to people.
