Anyone having this particular problem?

I was able to log in and create a character without any problem. However, once I select my character to go into the world, the game would just crash after it's finished loading during the loading screen.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game?

EDIT: Or try lowering your game details first

yes even tryed downloading the steam one still the same issue

I had a slightly different problem, the game would shut down after the login screen, but maybe it will help you too. I opened RO2_Option.ini (located inside RO2 folder), found the line “SHOW” and changed 0 to 1. And now it works perfectly fine.

Yes, I've tried to reinstall and use both the client from Steam and from the main website.

Still got the same problem.

Yes I've used your solution to bypass the login screen crash, but apparently it'll still crash for me after selecting a character. Q-Q Been waiting so long to try RO2. I never got into RO when the hype was around and learned about it too late, being busy with other mmos and games, but once I saw RO2 I was sure to give it a go. Alas so many launch problems.

Would like to know a fix for this as well. I re-installed 3 times and turn-ed off all my firewalls. Pretty sure my FW isn't an issue since it at least lets me log in. I just crash everytime I try to get into the actual game.

Character select, make my character, choose server, load........."I'm sorry Dave, I can't do that."

i'm not really sure about this but have you try changing your pc Language and regional standards into english (united states)?

Done that, followed everything that SEA people had troubled with...

Downloaded steam and from main site. Nope nothing...

dont get me wrong but the strange thing about this game is every people seems to have different solution for one same problem, what solutions from SEA that you have tried?

Not to say at this point, ANY fix would be welcome. That suggestion seems pretty weird considering anyone in this thread is technically able to "get in" the game.

Hell, I at least entertained myself a bit by spending 30 minutes creating a couple of characters. I now have a bunch of level 1s just waiting to bash some porings.

Okay... I think I have found the solution.

And then when I tried to go back on, I got through.

EDIT: I'll keep playing to see if anything is going to crash after that...

if you think that strange just swing around to playpark RO2 SEA forum you'll find stranger solution for this same problem and somehow some of the solution actually work...see thats the last solution that comes into my mind....

Okay, apparently the solution of deleting the two files belonging to the intro cutscene solved my problem as well. You do get a small error after the loading, but after hitting the "ok" button it carries on to the game.

I would advise against removing files until the fix is confirmed. On our side, the cases where this bug pops up are quite random and not always caused by a crashing cinematic. If you open a support ticket (https://support.warp...in/Default.aspx) our GM team will be happy to troubleshoot with you and can typically fix a character if their loading is causing the crash.
