Is there a new way for XP Home edition? I have serious position lag... It's never been this bad.

Nobody would know a way to reduce the lag? I'm verified and I'm not the only one with this issue...

I did this :

"A .reg file should be enough. As someone said page 4, copy this to add keys in notepad, don't forget to add blank line after last line :

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters]
"TCPNoDelay"=dword:00000001

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters\OCMsetup]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters\Security]
"SecureDSCommunication"=dword:00000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters\setup]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Setup]

And once you've finished RO, just run another reg file with this in :

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters\OCMsetup]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters\Security]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters\setup]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Setup]"

I don't know if it works, but I'll try it out sometime in the near future. Also, you need to add a line at the end of the notepad code

Drak, since you didnt put that in a code block the forum automatically put spaces in the key paths (or where you copied from may have done that - its to prevent un-spaced words from making the forum formatting break)

I referred to this on the wow forums:

http://forums.wow-eu...111794574&sid=1

aside from tcpnodelay, it also has instructions for doing TcpAckFrequency (normally 2, set to 1). Unfortunately you can't just copy paste a .reg file for this since the key is under your specific network card, but its easy to find in the registry.

Ooooh, so that's why I didn't really see a difference yesterday xD haha! Thank you, the post's been edited.

Also, as I said in the my first post, I can't do the TcpAckFrequency because I'm still on XP Home Edition.

Though I don't see it as an XP home problem, that kb entry says its an issue of not being up to date
