hoping that it would copy smoothly....5 minutes remaining...(crossing my fingers) haha :))

btw, where should I transfer the file after I copied it to my computer?


You can discard the file; I only asked you to try downloading a file to determine whether your Internet Explorer installation is working. :)

Try opening the client again after the download has completed.

Try opening the client again after the file transfer is completed.



I LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!! now the patch is now getting 2010-10-21! hahahaha Thank you so much!! haha :))

Okay sooo I don't know if this is because I downloaded it today or whatever but I was having the same issue.
But I noticed something! [After I downloaded the patch that is sitting on my desktop atm so it should really be doing anything.] There is something called "Ragnarok Renewal" No clue why it's sitting there or where it came from...but it patched it all fine and what not o.o;;

The issues described in this post are mostly solved (I think). In your case however it is probably one of the following:
- Are you using the correct exe? (either renewal.exe for p2p or ragnarokfree.exe for f2p)
- Try running it in admin mode (right click>run as admin*), in some cases the patcher won't patch if not run in admin mode.

*If this is it then you should tick the 'run as administrator' under right click>compatibility (privilige level). This way you won't have to do this manually everytime you run the patcher.

I got it to work. Another solution is to use the Ragnarokfree.exe then the Valkyrie.exe. Just for the beneift of others.

I have never played RO, downloaded the new client today and got this error. All I had to do was to launch the "Ragnarok Online Renewal.exe" and not the "Ragnarok Online.exe" that it starts with when you download it. Finally gonna try this game.
