Was I supposed to be saving my skill points for when im 25 and a sorceror?? Ive been spending them on the magician skills thinking there was a reset or something at 25!

That depends entirely on your skill build, and what skills you wanted to go for first. Ideally, yes, you would want to save some skill points.
Personally, I have 11-15 points saved by 25 as a Sorceror to be able to rush down and get Varetyr Spear and LoR at the least. But again, personal preference here is all that matters.

There's no reset on level 25 unless you buy it on the cash shop. Only beastmaster and monk have free reset on level 25.
