Sorcerer Class Discussion

To start with, omg I am loving Psychic Wave! We finally get a good AoE skill to level with. What's even better is our old Kaahi+Indulge tanking method still works. So put those two together, and we become an unstoppable soloing force . Varetyr Spear and Diamond Dust are excellent spells too but so far, Psychic Wave clears everything. My build right now is Int>Dex>Vit for leveling. Stun is such a pain in the ass in Juperos which is mainly why I started picking up lots of vit.
What I am struggling with is my Sage/Scholar WoE skill build. Max Dispel, Indulge and Blinding Mist are must-haves. I picked up ME 3 and all its preReqs. After that, I kinda just messed around with my skills. I got Dragonology 5 for the added int and I'm currently debating about Fiberlock (Extreme Vacuum is not as wonderful as I thought it would be. I can't seem to trap monsters at all, and a good majority of players just run through it. Although I only tried it at level 2 and I'm not sure if level 5 has better success). I also got Free Cast level 1 because seriously, it's amazing for soloing - especially when the mobs have knock-back skills, even in the short ~3 second casting time of PWave, I have time to reposition myself with Free Cast. Aside from those skills, I have no idea what to get. Are Endows worth maxing? Is Foresight useful? I've heard that Mindbreak is broken? Ah so many questions. What do you guys think?

- Is this good for a skill build? If not, how can I make this better?
- Are the elemental summons any good to have? Or should I use just Sorcerer magic?
- Is Arrullo any good?
- Due to the lack of fire skills, should Firebolt still be used?
- Exactly which Sorcerer Magic uses both Int and Str? All I know at the moment is that Varetyr Spear does this. But i'm not so sure about the others.
- Should I have Striking with my magic skills?

Anyways, what WoE skill builds have you guys decided with? I'm thinking about using this. It's not yet complete, but those are the skills I'm definitely getting. I just don't know what else to get. I could get another AoE spell or two (and their corresponding Endows), but for WoE, I'm not that heavily interested in dealing damage. I'm more focused on putting people to sleep with Arullo and inflicting Diamond Dust status whenever I can.

- Does Endow Blaze effect the healing rate of Warmer and/or damage of Fire Walk? Does Endow Blaze do anything besides make Striking have more Atk?
- Is Soul Exhale any good anymore?

I would like to ask a couple other question. I need to be informed about something just to save points or not.
- Does Endow Blaze effect the healing rate of Warmer and/or damage of Fire Walk? Does Endow Blaze do anything besides make Striking have more Atk?
- Is Soul Exhale any good anymore?
I think exhale has a fixed cast time now and you can only give half your sp to the target. Also it is less practical to use offensively in woe now after a failed siphon.

Soul Exhale is still a must-have because quite frankly, no other skill can replace that. With all Sorcerers now getting tons of INT, half your SP is still enough to fill up almost all non-caster classes. Really, the nerf hurts the Champion-Scholar relationship the most, but nothing's really changed with other classes. (btw, Soul Exhale now has a 5 second fixed casting time, but it no longer has an aftercast delay).
As for using it offensively after a failed Soul Siphon, true, you can no longer use it to fill up your own sp since the most you'd get is half your target's current SP. On the other hand, you can still offensively use it for giving your enemies less SP. For example, you can keep yourself at 1000 sp which is a decent pool of SP for casting your spells and at the same time, if you Soul Exhaled an enemy you'd end up making them have 500 SP which is low, especially for Suras who rely on high current SP or for Maestros/Wanderers who use 100+ SP per skill. - Of course this strategy would hurt your Energy Coat efficiency which is something to think about.
