I've hear auto shadow spell can only be used on 1st and second job skills. Is this true? Can you not auto-cast 3rd class skills?

That is correct, you cannot autocast 3rd job skills. You can only autocast certain 2nd and 1st job skills as well. They have to be magic, and they cannot be holy magic like Holy Light or ME(priest skill). Also, your level of shadow spell determines what level of the skill you've copied you will cast, up to level 5.

Though I'd like to point out that you should have asked this question in the class discussion sub-forum.

Duple Light is not exactly an offensive skill. It's actually a self-buff that when activated, gives you a chance to proc its damage component when attacking. Thanks to this damage component, you can copy Duple Light with Reproduce.

Could Raging Trifecta Blow and / or Duple Light work with a bow? I'm debating yet what kind of Shadow Chaser build I want to work with.

From what I have heard, RTB works with bows. I'm not sure about Duple, but I'm leaning toward saying it only works with melee.

no it doesnt. if you want another multi-hit skill with a bow, you'll need ranger's Fear Breeze skill

I actually just tested the Ranger skill out (fear breeze) and it cant be copied T_T

so basically we're just stuck with double attack + trif blow for bow, and +duple light for melee.

Edit: LOL just noticed i answered this after 4 months of no answers... lol

Raging Trifecta Blow was working with Bow Rogue about a month ago then it changed back I wish they would at least allow that.

 

Tried Duple light, does not work with bow.

 

But why was RTB working before again?
