Please describe exactly what behavior you're seeing.

Saying something "doesn't work" gives no information. There are tons of ways the mouse could "not work", and they all have different solutions.

I'll help with few general things,

1. If this is an occasional issue then it happens because sometimes while alt-tabbing your keys get stuck. Just alt tab out, left click, right click and middle click + scroll in desktop to refresh the status of all three mouse keys and it will be normal again. Enable mouse freedom if you like from Setup.exe (Run as admin and select 'Mouse Exclusive')

2. If this an general issue with your computer and not just RO then something wrong with your mouse, change it or get it inspected or check the drivers.

3. If anything else kindly elaborate since its the mouse thats not working, not the keyboard.

Well instead of making a new topic i thought I would just take over this one.

 

I recently installed ro again.

 

Running on compat for windows xp

running as admin

 

 

So if i go through a portal, or sometimes when I just log in I can not click anything with my mouse, I can see my mouse moving around. I cant ctrl q or e and look at things but i just cant click anything.

 

This is most likely what was happening with the above person. My mouse works fine out of game and sometimes when I log into game but if I go through a portal suddenly cant click.

 

Any ideas?

This happens sometimes when changing maps if the client was started recently (it stops happening once the client's been open for a while), the game seems to lose track of the mouse buttons. 

 

When it happens, just alt+tab out of RO and back in, and it will work.
