So I finally got this amazing skill just before my first run at the Shrine of the Sea God. Initially you do have to cast it to get it to work. It's not tagged as a passive skill. What I'm wondering is......how the heck do you turn it off? Or is there a way to toggle it off? I know Aura Blade and Aura Armor cancel each other out, but is there any way to get rid of Defender status other than dying on purpose?

Right click on it's buff icon on the top right corner

Drag the cursor over the [Defender] buff and right click with the mouse/touch-pad to remove the buff. This applies to almost any buff.
