Looking for a guild emblem for guild name "Beyond"

Prize will be khara points and points will be decided depending on how good the artwork is! between 500 and 1500.

I want people to be creative so if want you can add things that have to do with "beyond".

Add the letter "B" in any general area.

Prefered colors would be either blue. Red/black/White. but any colors will be accepted if the Guild emblem is of desired manner.

Anyone is allowed to participate!

its as simple as it is, just any object or nice design with letter b somewhere on it and it having to be somewhat translucent. i seen some nice guild emblems in ro1 i know you guys know what im looking for in a nice translucent emblem

I have spent a lot of time making RO1 emblems. I know how to make some pretty decent ones. Fact is, though, I'm not 100% sure how transparency works in RO2, and if it's anything like RO1, I doubt you can make a translucent (partially see-through) emblem work in-game. I think the first one should be somewhat transparent, but not sure how it will look. The second one I made translucent at 10% opacity, except for the letter B, which is at 50% opacity. That probably won't work. XD

That said, I gave it a go anyway. The base image I used is one I made myself in an attempt to make something that looks like a vortex, using the colors red, blue, black, and white to make the image. I'm not exactly sure if that fits your idea of something that is, "beyond," or not, but here ya go.

This was actually my first time working with RO2 images, so I'm not quite certain how transparency works in this game. I know it was pink (#FF00FF) in RO1. According to google, that's STILL the case with RO2, but then, different websites have said different things. You'd probably have to try mine to see if they'd even be transparent to be honest, because I don't know if they would be or not. XD I don't have my own guild to test them, either.

Regardless, I guess this could just be a learning experience and I could find out how to do them in the future. XD It's still a new game, afterall.

Maybe these will work and be transparent? O.o The first two are to show how they SHOULD display in-game.









I also would like to point out that from what I know about emblems for RO1, BMP is the primary format, and from what I've found on Google, the same is true for RO2 ( http://forums.warppo...-guild-emblems/ ). ShardRaldevius's emblem is a PNG according to the file information (I right-clicked it and went to the save option to view file info), thus it wouldn't work in-game. Typically PNGs allow a transparent background, but a BMP has a solid white background unless you cover it in another solid color. Covering it in a semi-transparent image will usually still result in the background being white, thus making it solid, not semi-transparent. The only way to bypass that fact is using the Indexed Color setting (RGB 8bit) and setting a color to transparent. This method will not work in RO2 (I had a friend try it). The only way I've found to make a background transparent is to use the pink color (FF00FF), just like in RO1. In the topic I posted, AmiiMii's method might work, but I don't know for sure. Never tried it. Regardless, seems a bit more complicated than necessary when you can just use the pink. lol

Transparency didnt work, and didnt look right in game, More blotched couldnt see emblem correctly. Sorry for inconvienience. If you can fix it and show me how it looks in game yourself then i'd be happy to send the payment.

yea they did not work, it kept the white background.. i wanted only the B Design wit the white backround being transparent for RO2. and in RO2 the emblem did not come out clear it was blurred

The original posted was 24x24 and PNG. RO2 emblems are 32x32 and BMP. Even if ShardRaldevius fixed the file-type, if the size stayed 24x24. perhaps that's why the image didn't work. Either way, it's not a difficult fix...
