i am installing my pc now with Win 7. I let you guys know what happens

i get this damn bug and its driving me mad ive missed out on so many colo matches because of it!

Im running RO2 from steam with build:

Windows 8 Pro 64
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz
ASUS P5Q PRO Motherboard
EVGA GTX 560Ti Superclock
8Gb Corsair XMS 2 gaming ram
620w Corsair HX PSU
2 x 1TB WD SATA 2 drives

i dont have any other bugs or problems apart from the going to colo or dungeons glitch where everything apart from my char vanishes..... still no fix for this i take it ?

Everything is installed. Have an dual boot to Win7 now. When maintenance is done i going to check it out

I think theys dont know about our problem or simple ignore us.

I test a VP with Windows 7 x64 ultimate and the trouble dont exist, its only in Windows 8 x64...

It will only affect more people as time goes on, so best to fix it sooner rather than later, dontyathink?

There are also people with Win7 who are having this problem, even tough they are less. I have two Win8 systems, with the one (Tower PC, AMD Phenom CPU) I have that problem, with the other (Ultrabook, Asus Zenbook, Intel i7) I don't have it...
I really hope that this problem will be fixed soon...

This bug is driving me nuts. I understand this game wasn't made for windows 8, but new computers these days mostly comes with windows 8.
It's like ruling out new entrants.

they need to get this sorted because it happens to me on colo, dungeons and changing channels i am really REALLY getting f'd off now im losing out on loads of PVP points from colo and getting locked out of dungeons because i get this bug.... SOMEONE FIX THIS ALREADY!

im starting to see a recurring problem here now, i have been playing from steam launch. i have paid for kafra coins and now that its been almost 2 months the game is rejecting windows 8. I myself have seen that games coming out now a days are built for windows 7 but windows 8 is out and no one cares.....

i think warpportal know about this problem with windows 8 lol, i myself have windows 7 and windows 8 and im going back to windows 7 XD

I am playing now for some time on Windows 7 x64. The bugg that i had on Windows 8 x64 (dungeon porting, Channel porting) is gone. I can play normal again. Also the crash in the Sandstorm dungeon at the end boss (cinematic) is gone.

Still i think this needs to be solved because i think Windows 8 is better then Windows 7, but that is another discussion

So everyone who have problems on Windows 8 x64 , Try to dual boot or go back to Windows 7 and your buggs are gone. (Compatibility Mode) will not work in Windows 8

Bump. Right now I cannot even log in to any of my characters because of this bug. It happened to me twice in a row and now when I log in and select character, I get stuck in the character selection screen.

Seems that the problem is about win8 64bits + AMD procesors.

my desktop has the same problem. cant auto out after colo or when eliminated, cant enter dungeons or respawn unless I force quit the game. I run window 8 on the desktop. Though the newly bought Acer laptop AMD Quadcore A8-4500 with Radeon 8750 graphics also running windows 8 does not experience this. tested it for 2 days now with no prob on the laptop. but my desktop continues to have this problem. Any fix for this yet?

my dungeon Problem is based on the Problem that im falling into the darkness in the payon dungeon....everything is working ingame, every dungeon Monster etc, without lagg or anyhting

when i stood 3 hrs at the entrance, almost 90% of the ppl for tried to enter it had the same error, so to say "get a better graphic Card" cant be a solution if everything els IS WORKING, and only this dungeon is Buggy~

Anyone else falling through the world whenever they leave a dungeon group?  It's really annoying to have to die and go back to your quest area every time, especially after they promoted using the dungeon finder so much.
