what level for root for sura?

With cursed circle as a Sura, root seems kinda obsolete. Are there any benefits of getting level 5 root other than being able to use Gfist? (are there situations where activating gfist would be easier with root than with cursed circle?). Or should I just spend those remaining 3 skill points into something like decreased agility?
My Sura is mainly for pvm and mvp. I might try pvp hence why I suggested learning decreased agility.
Thanks for any suggestions.

If you actually use Root 2 to stop a crush strike, the ONLY way root will end would be:
1) Wait 30 seconds (you'll probably die before that)
2) Someone else kills the RK (or you)
3.) Throw Spirit Sphere
with Root 5, you have the option of Gfisting out or Raging Quad if you have no spheres or don't wish to gfist, other than the obvious fact that it's almost twice as easy to catch someone with root 5 than root 2.
If you "try" to stop a crush strike with CC, the crush strike will still go through. Root on the other hand, stops the damage from going through completely.
And 3 champ skill points are hardly needed. I've got Aqua Benedicta and Angelus 1 (as well as root 5) on my sura, because why the hell not? It's not like you'll ever use 99% of those skills anyway. There's just no room for them.
Root 5 is nice for "tanking" things like bio monsters without Mental Strength as well.

Root 2 has a "catch time" of 0.7 seconds, while Root 5 is 1.3 seconds.

RK pops Millenium Shield. Gfist fails. RK chase after Sura and Crush Strike again. Your move.

By the way: Crush strike has a 30 second cooldown. Gfist has a 10 second cooldown.
I'm not gonna pretend to 1v1 you with imaginary crush strike vs imaginary root here.
You don't root in 1 on 1
Or you do, and wait out the entire minute and see who Bwings first lmao.
