Okay, so I have decided to go crit build on my gx. However, I am debating between going equipment critical or natural critical. If I were to do equipment, I would be wearing the morrigane's set, and just put more stat points into str. But if I were to go natural, I would pump up luk until I can crit well enough on my own, and have attack gear instead. Right now I'm equip crit just because my lvl isn't high enough, but I'm really trying to figure out what to do. Any tips?

I think a good mix is needed. With renewal LUK is a much more powerful Stat. I would go as high as 100 LUK and then use gear to make up for any lacking crit from that point on. I am no expert, this is my opinion.

im going for equip crit set+50-70 ish luk.

2x rogue treasure gives u 20 crit(with katar it becomes 40crit)+50ish luk gives u roughly 16 crit (70 luk=23)
if u have bsb thats entirely different story.

I'm going for a natural crit build, personally. But if you have the funds to buy 3-slotted elemental katars and a lot of skeleton soldier cards, you could probably pull this off.

3 slotted katars are joke now in renewal as they only give 105 attack , which with the 15% cards we are talking ~ 50 extra attack + 15 , so 75 attack , putting you at 180 attack or so.

Or you could use a katar [2] and get 150 right off the bat , add the 30% from the cards that puts you at 195 plus the 10 from the cards that is 205

The only way I slotted ele katar is better than a katar[2] is if you use 3 zippers or 3 20% cards

ele dmg to proper monster gives 175% additional atk. and usually u put proper ele card, not 15% one.

For example, with BSB, +5 Triple Flamable katar of Frozen Icicle., and with 100 str, u deal roughly 730 to 780 dmg to Magmaring.

With +5 Diligent Druga, u deal 590 to 635 with 100 str.

With +5 Double Diligent Katar, u get 580 to 610 with 100 str.

With +5 Unslotted Katar of Frozen Icicle, u get 617 to 658 with 100 str.

If u use ele scroll, thats a entirely different story, but without any scroll, ele katar is better weapon to proper monster.
