Hi all,

I'm actually beginning the game as an acolyte, road to be a Monk

I'd like to know if in WoE Monk will be only able to be a Tank or he can also DPS / competir with other DPS class as rogue/assassin/knight ?

I have read some subject that Monk is not as good as DPS as the other classes ? Is that true ?

I used to play Assassin on RO but, gameplay seems to be different so, wanna main another char !

Monk can be a DPS but is not really appriciated as one. Cuz u need to gear you up pretty good, have cards and still lack agi, what gives u an horrible crit rate. In my opinion if u really want to go for a DD u should ask yourself, if u are willing to wait some time be accepted, cuz most players just wont take u if they can get a ranger or Assassin or Wizard or smt else XD. Monks will be favourd as tanks until we can get gear with agi stats, but right now as DPS its not that easy to get spots for raids. But as a Tank or Offtank u will always get a spot.
