fair enough on that, but i was merely pointing out your inconsistent remark. you claim raid leader should take the time out of their own to explain it to you, when you could just as easily use your own time and read up a little and end result is mostly the same.

Please stop standing still for 5secs after every mob is killed. Also, please stop chatting unnecessary things because we are waiting for you to initiate combat and when you chat useless stuffs, it'll take our run longer. Lastly, when there's only one enemy, please stop doing AoE because we could catch up to your threat if you keep doing that. Thank you.

Not all tanks, but a minority just stand idle after each kill, obviously admiring their awesome tank skills, meanwhile the DPS combos that have been built up are ticking away and in the next 10-30 seconds will expire.

Use Smoke bomb to reset agro whenever you are out threating the tank.

PS. if you don't have smoke bomb. stand still, move around, or kill adds, don't die until you can hit again.

Dear DPS,

You have agility because you need to deal with the boss, and when time comes, the adds, and when needed, cover for the priest. notice the crits when you change targets. if you do just that, you wont aggro more than the tanks.

Again, please cover for us.

And tanks, when DPS do the adds, please take it off them as soon as you can. Don't worry, you're on top of our healing list.

It's the little things that makes a dungeon easy.

Learn to reposition mobs for aoes that have a smaller range to increase dps and decrease dungeon run times (when u spam brandish or grandcross and keep mobs seperated you cannot effectively use rage strike or grimtooth for faster dps
Dont start off with a taunt... pretty pointless (if u need an explanation for this....)
Dont spam aoes when there is less than 3 mobs, especially bosses when my dps is overtaking your threat.
Use your threat meter if your new to tanking
look at your party's status... sometimes people are dumb or broke and dont bring pots... so u may need to ask if they are good for the boss fight you just rushed to.
Dont run into traps/summon spots they are a waste of time and durability.
Dont clear the whole map and pull everything you can, if u rush pay attention to your clumsy party mates that cant run a relatively safe path.

Dps are pretty much fine with reno up tanking normal mobs anyhow some just live in theirown world and like to do it.
Also when u have a sorc spreading dmg instead of topping it all on the tank will make life easier for everyone.
Also to the dps out there.... get the hell off the boss with your threat ego and kill the adds... for some reason i see rangers doing this the most.
one more thing to dps... if tank is dropping hp fast or priest.. help out with your kd/stun skill to give them some breathing room (most kd stun skills are not gonna be part of your pve dps rotation unless u like to do less dps)

well have fun and be tolerant or explain/ask your intent to group if it applies this also goes both ways.

also lol on the colo round where 4 of us constantly ganged up of the kafra buff user and probably made him spend 7 dollars that round

To the DPS in my group last night.. Or any future group I have and for any group anyone has. Don't join a run to kill mobs for a khara then leave. We will hate you. You bring nothing to the party by leaving 20% of the way through the instance.

If you're lagging, apologize to the group and stop playing. This game doesn't take a lot of resources. So you shouldn't be lagging in the first place (I'm not talking about connection lag.)

And kill adds, holy crap... As a tank, I shouldn't be tanking 5+ mobs on a boss fight. KILL THOSE THINGS! The healer is already pissing their SP away as it is trying to keep me up through this torment.

Lastly, DPS, please learn what Land of Recovery is. It freaking heals you. If you're in a group with a FS sorc, stand in it. I cannot count how many people have died because they were off in the middle of nowhere being a healing sponge because they refuse extra healing..

I do this sometimes. Warriors and Beastmasters don't have any ranged attacks and sometimes we don't want to pull unnecessary mobs by leading the whole party there. Especially for those who don't know there are mobs hiding behind certain walls.
