When casting Comet while standing at the cell next to another Warlock, the skill shouldn't use Red Gemstones. I think it worked like this when I played my Warlock the last time, but I can't verify this 100%.

AFAIK, most (all?) skills that behave differently when standing next to another player of a certain class require both chars to be in same party.

ah, i dont get the answer by submitting tickets, got the answer after several tries... i just wanna 'imitate' the final ending of every tickets answered by GMs

If you are in a party with another warlock and in close enough proximity, it will not use the 2 red gemstones when casting comet. I would still carry a bunch anyway because you can't always depend on being next to another warlock. I don't know exactly how close you have to be though either.

Cells next to each other I believe as that adds the other bonuses

It does full damage in its radius. Not degrading damage as you are further from the center

Good coordination is needed between the two warlocks so that they stay together.

Can be if geared properly although I find often in Biolab TI's for example, Chain lightning being a better dps than comet.

what a f***n waste of renewal reset. so.. comet has no use basicly in pvm because it does not-so-good damage imo and this gem use is total bul-_-. better reroll to some other profession i guess.

Yeah comet can be good when released one right after each other, its still good for PVM and support damage in WoE xD

good? maybe with iRO stuff's like +12 staffs and +69 armors with mvp cards. i basically do only 25k dmg on porings T_T and that goddamn redstone usage.. with mora equips i could make a lot more damage with firebolts than this (i know they arent aoe but still..). my server doesnt has the option to do anything past +10 and getting even +9 is hella expensive - i can get one hd elu for 3euro per 10 and iRO had 1$ per 10 *whine whine whine*

offtopic so i dont need to spam the forums, any tips on placing my soul linker(kaahi) near the scraba's? i mean i think i need to do the quests for manuk? how people do it?

You could get a light of el dicastes on another character on the same account as the linker then use it to go to el dicastes and flywing to the scaraba hole entrance

i think Comet is the best in PVM imho due to multi application and benefit it can give to you and your party due to its range and stack-able damage eventhough using regular equips. But yeah, its quite expensive both to SP and gems. Either leave it for good or take it at Comet 5 to be able to harness it fully.

Either way, 25k to Porings is alot. You could farm jellopies everyday with maximum efficiency, so dont be sad bout it hehe
