Not sure why I never bothered to verify this, but parry can't exceed 70%, even with Warriors Parrying skill:

With current endgame gear, it's easy to reach 70%, so it makes putting points into Parrying less attractive.

Note: It doesn't show your parry rate for mobs 2+ levels higher than you, but there aren't that many in the game currently.

Truly? Why are there people preaching putting lvl 4 parry for the whole 100% parry thing? I need to know which one is correct because I am probably going to respec soon.

It's probably the passive Parry rate that is capped at 70%? The Parrying skill adds whatever on top of that, maybe.

That's what i am thinking, but I can also see why parrying wouldn't bring it past 70% because of a hard cap. Anyone from SEA can confirm this?

The cap is set to 70% by "normal means". With [Parrying], it is possible to go past said "cap" and even reach 100%. Has been confirmed in both KR and SEA version to hit 100% parry rate by simply . . . hitting near the "cap", then activating the [Parrying] skill.

The link posted on the opening of this thread is related to this topic;
http://forums.playpa...-off-tank-soon/

In which the person was using the AoD set to "surpass" the said cap by 5%. Do note that he is not using [Parrying] in any of the ss'es depicted. The guy had lv1 [Parrying] and was somewhat content with his 83% parry rate (activated).

In this screen-shot, you have the stats of a korean ro2 warrior with the AoD set and (most likely) [Parrying] buff as well as other things up;
http://img441.images...23605526022.jpg

In which that depicts the possibility to surpass said cap with [Parrying] and hit 100% (I would guess the person had a Lv3 [Parrying] so as to save points for other skills).

The best way to replicate this testing would be to ask a tank warrior (with a decent parry rate) to use their [Parrying] (hopefully its Lv5), then ask if they surpass the 70% limiter.

SEA is down for maintenance right now, so no SS, but I have 90% parry with parrying, and when I highlight the stat, it shows:

49Level 70%
51Level 70%

I don't have 100%, but I asked on the forums and someone confirmed that against monsters and players, 100% parry doesn't parry every hit.

You should test it out on your server.

@Shouichirou: yes it displays more than 70% in the character stat screen, but when you highlight the stat, it will show the parry at 70% for mobs lvl49/51.

Yeah, I wanted to bring it to the attention of NA server.

It's really easy to test, just need to find someone with 100% parry.
