Hey everyone,

I was having quite a lot of trouble doing the Venom Spores and Dospore quests with a level 25 Ranger. I'm having trouble mostly because the mobs are level 28, and from what I gather each level above me gets a 9% hit rate penalty. So that's 27% hit reduced immediately, on top of which the mushrooms cast a de-buff that reduce hit even further. Most of my attacks just end up missing, and it's hard to get Fear Breeze to stack for Arrow Vulcan or even to gather Concentration to cast Double Strafe because most of my attacks just miss. In the mean time, I get completely trampled.

I've finished all the non-dungeon quests and Khara missions up till this point. I couldn't find a party for any of the dungeons so have had to play solo. Any suggestion what I should do to level up at this point? Or is there any way I can compensate for the hit penalty? I've done all the quests and I can't seem to be able to repeat the daily quests.

Get a party and do the dungeons and/or grind on mobs you can hit. You're underleveled and there's no getting past that fact.

Yeah, flag yourself up to do those dungeon quests through the Find Party window (N), and buy some Monster Buster scrolls in your level range so you can grind while waiting for an invite.
Or if you can't afford that, then flag up and just grind/farm, or sit in front of the dungeon on channel 1.

You don't have much choice with that kind of a level gap. And if you keep missing out on dungeon quests, then the gap will only get wider.
