Besides, Battle Leap doesn't always work when your target isn't always where they seem to be.

My battle leap is level 1 (would be 5 if my warrior was pvp absed) and Rage strike is 5 (battle tactics built dps warrior)

Rage Strike: omgwtfbbq dmg!
Battle Leap: jump around every 30seconds! Decent utility to get around, plus also useful for pve.
Endure: more useful for PvE, and attempting to get people to not target me.

You can see that I completely ignored aura armor and defender. At first I was a bit iffy about it, but I went oh-what-the-hell, might as well for fun. It's called full DPS for a reason. With 3rd jobs and newer content, I'm hoping that this build will actually be more used as 3rd job = more stronger high dps skills = Warrior widely accepted as high DPS classes. One can hope. Even if not, it's still fun.
I usually reach if not last, 2nd to last round in colloseum with this setup.

Now, I won't question LuBu for his 15k crits because his war cry defies all numbers, but you would need at least 4k Attack to manage 3~4k RS Are you using Colo weapons? My AP is only ~2.3k unbuffed, and with the +30% from our attack buffs it'll only just hit ~3k.
And yeah, I really hope 3rd jobs will make Swordsmen more viable DPS. I came from an AGI Knight in RO1 and addicted to ASPD-

Then there are those times when I don't crit so a wizard can just parry my attack and be all cool with it.

My rage strike does 3-4k reg hit and abour 6-7k crit. [...]
Sorry, probably should have used quotes in my previous post. As it stands, Battle Tactics is low priority for my Warrior. Just wondering how someone could get 3~4k regular hit RS when my AP is only 2.3k unbuffed. Even if I had Defender off and using 5/5 RS, I'd only be doing around 2k or less.[...]

LuBu I want to know the ways of your battle tactics, I always assumed it would be meh but you seem fairly hyped about it.
And yea Da big Leap is not as good as people hype it to be what with lag and such, half the time I either just jump and land in the same spot to try and knock folks down, or try to leap away and hope they find a more interesting target.

Battle Leap is best used as a pre-maneuver before you use your "OMGWTBBQ" skill (Rage Strike). In the sense that you should stun all the enemies (as long as they don't dodge) around your "intended target" while you would have a "great time" taking the kill-steal while everyone is napping. Needless to say, its best used when a person near death is being mobbed by melee classes, so that you can have a chance to temporarily incapacitate them while you take the kill.
Another use would probably be as a "counter" (assuming you master the "20m range" and can instantly click an aoe) to [Acrobatics] and [Teleport]. Where, you would carefully watch what is behind a ranger (or in front of a wizard) while you are bashing away (in anticipation of where ever they land, you'll promptly "jump with them").
Of course with that said, you can go complete "scum bag" by [Battle Leaping] into a hordes of [monsters + people], stunning them all . . . . then [Wide-Voking] and running away. Essentially, you would be;
a) Stealing their mobs and their mob-kills
b) Resetting their mobs in colo
PvE-wise
Pve-wise, [Battle Leap] is usually sought out for its utility. Whether you may use it to assist tanking (stunning all the monsters), way of transportation (mob-to-mob, or you "get to the boss first" move), or even as an "evasion device" (getting out of raid boss aoe or to a safe place). Don't get me wrong, the last one is mostly used for fun if your "lazy" and just want to get in a few more smashes before you actually have to leave the aoe.
alternatively you can also use [Battle Leap] to do some lol-ally-kills whenever you have a "target aoe" around yourself . . . . just wait for the literally last second . . . and JUMP to to an ally in range.
