Just curious on what the best class for each job is? What would be most beneficial for each Class if I were to solo?

In my opinion:

Swordsman: Blacksmith, you can make all of your own equipment.
Mage: Alchemist or Cook, you're going to be burning those SP restoration items.
Archer: Artisan, you can make your own armor.
Thief: Artisan, you can make your own armor.
Acolyte: Alchemist or Cook, you're going to be burning those SP restoration items. You'll also be burning those HP pots if you're going monk.

In my opinion there really aren't any "best fits" in the sense that one crafting profession is vastly superior for a certain class. For instance, Swordsman classes can make their own heavy armor as a Blacksmith, but any class can appreciate being able to make their own weapons and rune hole punchers. Alchemists may seem more suited for FS Priests that otherwise have trouble battling, but given how fundamental potions are to this type of game, all classes will like being able to make extra healing items. Conversely, while Artisans and Chefs may seem more suited to combat classes, even FS Priests will be fighting a lot of enemies (tedious as it may be) throughout the game's story, so there's no shortage of materials. I suppose if you really wanted to match them up (by roles for the last three since it depends on how you spec your class), it would be Blacksmiths for Knights/Warriors, Alchemists for support classes, and Artisans and Chefs for damage dealers.

Most of it depends on your playstyle, but some jobs go really well with certain classes. Rogue/Alchemist are good since they can craft their own pots for doping. Of course Warriors/Knights do well with Blacksmith, since they can craft all of their equipment. Artisan is the easiest/cheapest job to level, most people can get it to max without even crafting anything. Chef is the most expensive and time consuming, but the buff foods are really nice.

DPS or Hybrid go for Artisan and Chef

Hybrid or Support go for Alchemist and Blacksmith

If u wanna save some zenys lvling the jobs choose Artisan or Blacksmith u don't have to buy lots of recipes for lvling the jobs, if u dont care about zenys Chef for the fact that u have to buy new recipes and sauces or u can lvl it with low lvl foods, my alchemist is still low lvl so idk XD.

Chef is very hard to skill up compared to others if you don't farm the 5 basic crafting mats because you need them for everything, you don't have the easy-mode "Gather and craft on the go" that Artisans, Blacksmiths and Alchemists have.

Blacksmiths have it the easiest - all the mining nodes are in safe spots, some are in roads without any monsters nearby and respawn so damn fast you can amass large quantities, start a craft, go afk, and come back with many job levels gained.

I've yet to try Alchemy but Artisan was just no-brainer, loot, "skin" the mob you just killed (animals, people and a few other random types) for cloth or leather and do as blacksmithing, start up the "upgrade" of each material to the next type and wham, easy job levels.

Its completely unrefined and boring.

At LV50 it depends on what you want

Blacksmithing can make the LV50 Rune Drills everyone needs, as well as craft many epic recipes found in RHD and Raids
Artisans can make +5 stat Runes, as well as craft many epic recipes found in RHD and Raids
Alchemists can make very awesome potions that everyone wants to buy - I believe there's a raid-only recipe for a 2500 hp pot?
Chefs can make very good buff foods and "pause food" (30 sec have to wait out of combat) to restore 125hp/sec if you have no healing whatsoever and dont want to waste pots. But they're all a paint to gather all the mats unlike herbs and ingots and fur/cloth... Raid recipes include a +45 atk and crit one, which is better than the +25 crit/atk recipe found everywhere but its a raid drop, good luck getting it.
