I got a question on how this works.
Since as the guild master you get to choose who can use it or not.
My question is, is the guild storage shared or individual?
It's probably individual but I prefer to to confirm this since it doesn't say on any guide/wiki I have come across.

I think it is shared. The Name "Guild Storage" makes me think of it. I think the Command of the GL to choose who can and cannot use these is the Proof. (i.e. Situation is: Why would you not allow members to use it if its individual and not shared?) I think it is used for the raid drops as well as ingredients, as a GL you choose who can access it if he/she needs something from the items/Materials you all worked for.

That also makes sense too. That would also explain some items not being allowed in the guild storage but in regular storage.

You could always just test it on your own.
1) Grant permission to a member you trust and place something in the storage. Have them remove it, if possible.
2) Grant permission to any member and place a useless item in storage. Ask them to remove it, if possible.
3) Create an alt, add it to the guild and place anything in the storage. Swap characters and remove it, if possible.
However you approach the issue, you'll discover the answer.

Good idea although Guild Storage can only be unlocked when the guild reaches level 20
which is a long ways to go.

Ha! Well, don't I have egg on my face... comes from not being in a Guild and thus unaware of that, admittedly major, caveat. Sounded logical at the time, though.
