I know it does a chunk of burst damage at the cost of a horrible animation (can it be reduced btw?) and 5 fear breeze. But I am wondering, if I forego it completely, would I actually be able to do more DPS just using charge arrow and bird in the late game because you will have like a million haste and can probably shoot 2 charge arrows at the time you would fire a single arrow vulcan?

Just wondering, I am not too familiar with Rangers myself, but I am just not sure about arrow vulcan.

This is what I've been saying on the other thread.....once you get Colo or CoA set, you can do two CA fast enough making AV unnecessary. I don't know if it's a bug or what, but, haste doesn't affect AV's animation. It's just like Wizard's Fire Explosion, imagine you cast those skills so frickin fast ----- it would look ridiculous (which is why I think the devs failed to foresee this).
